What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

I like it better towards the front than straight out the sides.

Are you thinking of painting the entire air cleaner assembly black or leaving the snorkels the color of metal?

Considering several different paint schemes. Silver lower half, black top. White lower, Red top. Red lower, white top and a 360-4bbl tin on the top.

Welding on my firewall to close up the a/c holes and fit a standard heater box In here.

I don't need a/c getting in my way, I need room for a possible future BB swap or maybe a Paxton supercharger.

This is a B1 powder blue 72 demon in case I didn't mention that.

Thinking about driving for a bit and than getting it up in the air for a 3 1/2'' H pipe install. Not that I think it will do any good , but I got a heck of a deal on the H pipe kit /with the two ends already fish mouthed ------
Might install a pan evac system too , while I got the pipes off.

Running errands in it. Setting at Chick-fil-A right now eating my nuggets, then off to the pharmacy to pick up meds. Then off to Safeway to pick up the wife. Dropped her there a bit ago.

Not my Mopars but a headlight was burned out in our Lucerne. I would like to strangle the engineers. You can't pull the headlight without pulling the grill and bumper. I tried to get to it through the inner fender. Nope. I ended up jacking it up and loosening the plastic under shield. You can't take the whole thing off without removing the front bumper cover because it is plastic clipped from the inside. Arggg. I sure like working on the old stuff better.

I think Dave said his 300 was like that. Remove the whole front... A lot of modern cars are a total PITA to change lights. Did some for a guy at work a few years ago in a Mercedes. :BangHead::BangHead:

Chased the intake manifold threads on the 302 and 308 heads. I can't find my other thread chasing taps, no clue where I put them back when we had the fires last year. If I can find them, I can do the exhaust manifold threads as well.

edit:
drilled out the broken exhaust manifold stud. Still can't find the taps, I'll look tomorrow. time for a burrito and a beer.
Oh, got a bunch of pine sap all over my shirt. I R SMART!

Most of it is very good.

But most need a little cleaning and a few need a repair.

Bulkhead f battery feed terminal needs cleaning but shows no damage.

Alternator feed, better than I expected considering how the male terminal looked.

Deoxit on everything. The worse ones get 100% overnight.

Looking good!
On the aftermarket speaker I riveted and soldered some terminals instead of the jumper I'd been using.
The more difficult way but it keeps the original harness intact. Why? IDK other than that's my preference. LOL
Used a couple of piggy back terminals.

Can you give details on your cluster? I'm in the market for a temp/oil/voltage cluster, and yours looks pretty neat.

New front end is assembled and drums built, but I’m having trouble with leaky lines going to the wheel cylinders on both sides. Today I’ll be bending up some new lines to see if I can solve the problem.
