We did score all this for $20 yesterday thou. 360 Truck motor. With a ton of extra parts.

Started working on the Charger a bit.Cleaned up the engine bay that was painted 20+ yrs ago.Got the floors painted again after the welding for us cartool subframe connectors and torque boxes.Also dug out the r/t taillights I bought 15yrs ago so I can get them restored.That’s about it for now

Nothing today but my new SA2020 helmet came today ( my old one expires Jan 1st ) and my new Tubular Automotive headers came two days ago..machine shop with my 367 is closed until after the holidays but my motor should be back together soon after bending a valve.. then its going on the dyno

This was yesterday, not today, but I wanted to share! The Valiant I bought has no front or rear wheels, so my buddy and I had to get creative to unload her. Here's a time lapse of the unloading process.

Finally got my heads back, my regular machinist could not replace a sunken exhaust seat. IDK Sooo took the heads to a Speed Shop did a very nice job, ground out the seat and installed a new one, long with all new valve guides, spring shims, perfect circle stem seals and the usual ground and lapping valves and seats. The heads cost me more then the rest of the rebuild including the new pistons.... lol

Well...change in plans. Did the wiper pivot seal/grease fitting thing and before I put the steering column back in the car, thought I'd check the floorplan "just in case". No reason to think of a problem as the rest of the car doesn't have rust but...
Well look what I found!! A Flintstone-mobile in the making!! And obviously a previous repair as well sometime maybe in the 1970's? New driver front pan on the way... pass front ok and rears look brand new.

Oh that's non repairable. You will just have to sell it to me and cut your loss. That's what friends do when someone is down on there luck. You help them out. :poke::)
