Barracuda came out of winter storage fine but developed a fuel starvation issue leaning out to 20+ on the wideband and dying. What of the six things it could be will I end up fixing. Called my parts house and they set a new fuel pump on the counter for me-(just in case) Started with the newly installed cheapo fuel pressure regulator, wasn't that. Did a volume pump test into a jar without satisfactory results. Pulled off the fuel pump and replaced it, reinstalled fuel line including the pressure regulator and it fired and ran with no hesitation, back to running status. I'm back on the road

Ya, too funny parts store sent me 2 different color calipers but i was to lazy to paint them. Hope i dont regret it later .
You'll do fine can't see both sides at the same time, but if I ever get over there I will give you a hard time about it . lol

Took my barracuda on a 50 mile hyway shakedown to see what would come apart, ran and drove great made it home without any issues. Smooth as glass at 80 motor only turning about 2200, really like this car.

Went to a car show today and won "Best Mopar"
Nice car Lon can't wait to see it up close, will see ya next year at the park.
No free pizza yesterday, but we did get a free meal out of the show. Hotter than hell though.
Took the 'Cuda out for a while this morning. ...BEAUTIFUL weather today!

I figured out the surging problem at cruising speed and got the kickdown cable working properly. Was a great day

Returned from the Twisted Axle Car Club cruise to the 44th annual St. Ignace car show. None of our cars had any issues during the ~850 mile round trip. Unfortunately, some of our member's cars developed issues before the trip and couldn't be repaired in time. We also had a few members who had health issues that prevented them from attending the outing.

68 Dart 340/727:66 Signet Vert 340/5spd: 68 D100
Not excited about these two drips. And possibly the 90* filter, which I tighten the piss out of. All bolt washers and gaskets where on correctly btw. I remember using cometic gaskets on my other 340 and that took care of it. Any other suggestions?
Sure hoping that snugging the intake manifold down will take care of the antifreeze dribble. Hands together praying of course. You can see the antifreeze snail trail on the bellhousing. I took such care installing the intake with The Right Stuff.
Have drip coming off the mini starter which is from the valve cover. Ordered up and received the Mopar performance gaskets. Cork Fel-Pros should have been just fine but these are old stamped OEM valve covers and may not be 100% flat and true after I restored them as well as I could.
Sure hoping I don’t have to reseal the intake. **** me that would suck after getting everything all pretty.
Oh yeah. Stainless steel brake line suck too. Never again. They look nice but are a ***** seal.

Nice cars! That Chevelle reminded me of the time I was 17, and my brother borrowed me his primer gray '67 to go to school in. Me and a friend of mine blew off school, headed out to a town 30 miles away and cruised all day. The only tape he had in the car was Nazareth... I know that album by heart to this day. He was a bit pissed about the odometer... forgot to unhook the speedo, doh!
Finally got the top rad support off. Feels like I've been working on it forever.. only been a couple weeks, half hour here and there. The guys welding stuff up on the assembly line that day weren't messing around.

New Wix 42044 air filter.
I Installed a battery hold down as there wasn’t one there at all when I bought the car this past Friday and cleaned the battery terminals, added some dielectric grease, and put on those little felt thingies on just because i like them
I need a proper length j-hook for the drivers side, the one I had was too long and had to add a few nuts to close the gap so I could at least tighten it down.
Next up...seeing if I can get the ac system and heater/defroster working...and the horn...and the flickering lights...lol and now my radiator cap seems to be leaking.
