This was 5 years ago hauling in the '76 D100 parts truck.

Now: New radiator, multiple new hoses, new power brake booster, new starter, lube suspension, grease driveshaft, flush and change coolant, top off all fluids, new air filter. Clean AC Condenser, Transmission Cooler, and Power Steering Cooler.

Starts like a dream and no more coolant leaks. That is one big *** radiator, keeps it cool all the time.

Ready for the next round trip.

Getting the loose end details wrapped up in the bay. I debated on whether or not to paint it because I don't have a compressor/gun set up, but with the engine out it became a no-brainer. I stripped it down to metal, as well as the inner wheel wells, core support, etc..and rattlecanned it. 2k epoxy primer then 2k hemi orange. Not a pro job, but looks pretty damn good to me and a definite improvement over the 52 year old paint / grease and nastiness.
This is my first and LAST project, and I'm so glad I took the journey. At some point I'm going to put together pictures and/or video of where it started and the "almost finished" product.. "Almost finished" because I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to afford getting the whole car painted.
I did the interior myself. I did the suspension.. I did all of it ( a lot with great advice and help from the members here ) except the the initial body work and paint done on the roof, deck lid, tail panel and quarters.. To a lot of you, a project is no big deal...you've done many..but to me it's an accomplishment that I'm actually proud of.
Engine sounds good and fairly healthy and I can't wait to drive it...!

Took my grandson for a two hour drive. Couldn’t wipe the smile off his face every time I kicked the four barrel in.

This wasn't today, but last week. Took Vixen over to Freddie's so we could put her on the lift and locate all the exhaust leaks. I WAS gonna come back home, jack her up and weld them up myself, but Freddie insisted on doing it for me. We got every stinkin one welded up and I also repositioned one of the V band clamps on one of the collectors and got it sealed up, too. She sounds REALLY good, now. I'd post a video, but my camera has such crappy audio it still sounds like infected dog butt. I'm open for suggestions for a new video camera....maybe with a microphone jack or a removable mic?
