I saw them play this live, that was a great show. Steve Whiteman really likes to get the crowd fired up, only to walk off the stage and make everyone think the concert is over, come back a minute later and finish up the show with 4 more songs.

This is one of my favorite versions, Marshall Crenshaw played Buddy on stage for the Labamba movie and does a great job....funny thing is the song played in the movie but wasn't released till after Buddy died in the plane crash.....a great song though

The thing about doing 'Crossfire' live was the 3 bass lines, (piano, synth ,&
bass gitfiddle all overlaping).

lots to consider... We did okay though...

Mr Buddy Guy said it most succinctly,(paraphrase) " it's not about how many notes You play, it's about playin the right note at the right time"

I've been hearing "Ace of Spades" in some strange places lately.

I remember seeing them at Bogarts in Cincinnati circa 1987.

Haven't heard Gang Green in ages either.
