And on the rare occasion that we actually get snow:

74 dusted... yes that is a 44hd in the front. the rear is a phord 1ton d60...lol. i have another 4sp bulldog trans and a 360 to go in in next summer.

Same thing I drive all year long. A rusted '92 GMC Sierra pickup 4WD, 6 cylinder 5-speed stick. Good on gas, tows my Duster to the track, and I can go anywhere in the winter. I LOVE my truck. It's approaching 200,000 trouble-free miles with extremely minimal maintenance. We paid $1,500 for it almost 10 years ago. Every start up is a freebie.

D44-HD under the front of that of that '79 Ramcharger, Devil Dawg?

Kinda reminds me of my '76 Ramcharger... Only in much better shape, lol. Mine was bought new by my Grandfather in '76, which is the only reason I've kept it. Any other vehicle, I would have just bought a different one. So I bought a '79 Trailduster Tub to use for parts to restore mine

Recognize the tires? lol, they're the same ones on my little D50 now. I lucked out and the donor tub was the same exact color. Had a friend haul it up from North Carolina for me. The Tub & Top were pretty much beyond saving on my old one. And the engine was royally F'ed thanks to an ex-friend... He punched the ignition on my RC and tried to take it baja'ing through the woods...... while the oil pan and oil pump were laying on the garage floor!

Granted it was just a run of the mill 360 with milled J 2.02 Heads, but still that took balls to screw up the steering column and destroy the engine. Sooo I've got no choice but to swap in a '74 440/435/203 combo to replace it.... I almost say that like it's a bad thing, lol.
nope mines out of a chevy. that way i didnt have to deal with the vac front end. i do have a set of d44 and a d60 for an 87 dodge 3/4 ton if your interested

2001 ford ranger or my 2008 dodge avenger untill I buy my 2014 dodge DART
