The old man, wearing his beautiful orange coat.

We've been battling ear mites with our cat crew.
Buddy, one of the oldest scratched open a blood vessel, causing a hematoma between the ear cartilage and skin.
We had to take him to the emergency vet and they put him on pain meds among other things.
With his floppy, swollen ear and being dorked up, he actually got cuter.
Here he is staring off into the distance.

I love every minute I spend with both of them. When we're out walking, I notice that I am usually smiling. It's 1/2 mile around the neighborhood and it takes us about 30 minutes to make it around but I am happy. Riley stops about every 3 feet to sniff and mark, and check p-mail messages and leave his reply. Belle helps keep lookout for anything we may need to know about.

One cat, meet Tom, 9 months old and my count that I have seen with my eyes is 5 mice, keeping him around as long as he likes
All black paws, I have read some neat stuff about black paw cats, mighty cats , good read if you search it
Tom is quite the looker. ....and I bet he knows it. lol
Clyde has all black paws and toes. He's a pretty tough customer. lol
Yes, he must know it, still playful and we coustion anyone playing with him that we do Not cut or trim his nails, little burger has sharp teeth and claws to protect his self from other males and dogs.. its crazy to watch him shoot up and down these trees out her.

2 dogs from the same litter. We had a rescue dog from a 100 year flood. She was a hunting hound / Blue Healer. Our neighbor's German shorthair pointer got her pregnant and she had 13 pups. We kept 2 one is brilliant LUCY... the other not so much DUMB DUMB. The irresponsible father never paid child support...LOL

It's been over 4 years since I posted to this thread, we still have 3 dogs, but the big blonde guy has been gone for a few years now.
This is Charlie, my avatar pic, much older now at 10 years.
This is Olive, she's about 5 years old now.
Our latest addition, Izzy will be 2 years old in March.

Those are some wonderful looking kids you have there. The little one that is being petted is a gorgeous little pup. Charlie looks like he is running the show. We had 4 as my wife and I both love dogs but lost my mom's 135 lb golden Mr. Lucky...He was her farm dog for 12 years and we had him for 3 after she passed. Little Miss Parker Dog our 100 year flood rescue passed 5 years after she had her pups. Karrin named her Parker because she parked her *** on our porch during the flood and never left.
