This was his 1st day in the house. Everything has had to be adjusted, moved, to accommodate him, he is an escape artist, not anymore. The big kennel I built for the dogs...he just jumped the 5 foot fence with ease.
I'm learning how to deal with these dogs, slowly and losing furniture and stuff in the learning process but hell, it can be replaced.
Should've just stuck with cats though.

Tabitha another rescue, I found her about 3 months old crying under my dart at home.
I absolutely love this girl.

Here's shadow, he came back in December 2020 and has never left, I give him all the reason to stay...lots of love. He's a great little boy

This is Claire, 3 leg dog. She's a very independent pup. But she's worried about Tabitha stealing her bed lol

Flora is pretty much mad, I've been able to make her purr 12 times in 4 years. Lol

The big black cat in the right was Fred, he got hit by a car, he was a great cat . He came with the house when we bought it.
The next weekend is when we got the 2 girl pups.
Yes, it was cold and I have a blanket on.

All very good companions, no doubt, but I'm partial to dogs, and allergic to cats. You and your wife are very kind hearted folks for adopting these fur kids.

Turns out that cats made me the way I am now lol

He's just doing what he's told to, lol. What a handsome boy.
Thanks, when he first started slinking around here, I thought he might have been a wolf pup.
But nope, just a dog that wanted to live here lol.

One of my three gsd's, Magnum, riding with me to Lowes to get stuff to fix the gate. The one he practically destroyed cause I left him home when I went to Sam's.
(He's deaf, never needed his ears, so they never came up).

For those of you who remember our pointer Little Miss Lucy who passed last year. This is Georgia-Bean. It's hard to replace a dog like Lucy but Georgia-Bean is giving it her best shot.

Here’s Hemi back in 2014 (bike) and again in 2024. I brought him in as a Feral around 12-13 years ago. It took months for him to trust me. He would hide behind my woodpile in my backyard and sneak out after I threw out steak, pizza, chicken wings and finally set out Meow mix and his water bowl. The picture on my porch was his last day outside. Now I have 7 inside and 3 outside

If you chewed on my ear like you did that poor old cat I would hide behind the woodpile too! LOL We have a retired friend "Sunny" that took in a female stray for company. Now he has 28 cats and kittens. He loves them all!

9 of my 10 have that chewed on ear and it cost me a lot of money for them to get that. Hemi was a TNR before I got him so he just got the normal vet visit.
