I'll throw out a wild guess of 545 flywheel hp

Not enough.. OH sorry, I ment Never enough... LOL, that's what you'll be saying soon enough.

Looks like a Fun package!
Will it see dyno time?

Depends on who's dyno you put it on.

Ain't that the truth.

I bet you cold find a dyno that would kick out a 540hp number. Truth is it would NEVER run a MPH consistent with those HP figures. Back to those pesky time slips.

I bet you'd be in the 475-490 range with a good tune.

9 to1, .552 cam, 1.92 intake.....I'm thinking 410. Like everybody knows, depends what dyno it's on. It will probably MPH in that 390-410. Just my guess.

ti was thinking of going back to biggs an getting a bigger carb.. 950?? I have got an Killer tuner that can bring out hp in any engine. after i get the engine up an unning I plan on opening up the heads . I know you say why wait till I get it running but I am at $ 2460 on machine work right now so money is on the tight side.

I have pointed this out in other threads, but NO one agreed with my statements........ET, weight, and MPH are much bigger truth tellers than a dyno, ESPECIALLY the dyno of whoever is building your engine! As tony said "timeslips never lie" But my guess is about 480..........

Just put it together right. It will have plenty of power. Why do you need a number? Measure it in tire smoke and ET.

^ I think a lot of stuff like this is just put up so we can take our guess is that it's not that he needs a number or anything. I guess food for thought or just for discussion's sake.

What is the cams duration at .050 and what's the lobe separation?

Is this the cam? IMO, if you have 9.0-1 compression it's to much cam and you would be better served with a smaller intake. I foresee it being soft and sluggish on the bottom end. I think you'll need more converter too. My $.02
