What's on your "to do" list for this winter on your race car?

-
bodywork to make the air cleaner look stock. Install antigravity battery, change a big heavy steel bracket holding the trans cooler over to carbon fiber one. Make battery tray out of carbon fiber.

I hope to wire and plumbing the Charger. Need some time on the car to haul it to Utah in 2026.

I’ve run both and the Pro Dominator will kick the crap out of the M1. Won’t be close.
I tried both the dual carb tunnel ram set up and the single carb/Indy port matched intake this past season and there was very little difference in ET/MPH between the two. I've had the M1 W5 intake sitting around for over a year now so I'm going to give it a try. If I don't like it I'll put the Indy intake back on. Thinking I'll stick with the single carb setup for simplicity sake since there's no real performance difference.

On the dyno, my 440" W5 street engine made 644hp and 585 ft torque with the M1. 655 hp and 602 ft torque with the indy. Both un ported just gasket matched.

Freshen the engine with switching to a solid roller from a solid flat tappet.
Switch to a dana and going with a 4.30 gear from a 3.91.
Install new AJE k member,a arms and coil overs.
Remove under coating.
Maybe a new converter.
Probably going to need to add a few extra roll bars.
I just tore the engine down this past week after six years and looked pretty good.

Need to Finish the car, that's a long list. I need to buy a converter, want to switch the cam over from solid flat tappet to a bigger solid roller if I can afford too. Would also like to weld a little more on my tunnel ram and get some real taper from the plenum to the intake flange.
Be ready for the start of 2025 season that is the goal & hopefully I will have built a nice 9 second car

Unfortunately I have to do a full rebuild of my small block. I somehow killed the thrust bearing. I'm thinking it's converter/transmission related but I am kind of worried I'll never know exactly what did it. Time to pull out the microscope. dot the i's and cross the t's.

new rear drums and shoes, adequate new fuel pump, new battery, practice tree, and maybe swapping to air shifting
Do you still need a fuel pump? I think I have just the thing, but I'm out of state right now. I can give you an answer next week if you want the pump.

Building some sheet metal bending fixtures in 3 different radius's like the one Mike Bello at Bello's Kustoms uses in this video.

I need to build some new parts the car needs and figured these might be helpful in panel building.

Looking for a continuous duty pump. Thinking the Aeromotive SS pump will be a nice upgrade.
I have a cheapie that’s smaller than a Holley blue on it now, put it on when it had the 360 in it.

I have 3 quickfuel 30-175 pumps. One is new in box, one in box that has been opened and one that has been raced for years without an issue.

Since I lost my camshaft, I will be starting from scratch.
Getting a new block prepped with boring and lifter bores bushed.
Bump compression with new pistons.
Purchase a new camshaft.
I'm not at all motivated on this project since it was all new last winter.

Good luck on your msd box. Had a friend put in a new one recently and he had to go through 4 of them before he found one that worked

That's very unfortunate. People don't want to do anything right these days. That msd7 is expensive

Build my new bracket engine. Hoping for 600 to 650 hp on pump gas. 440 10.8 comp. Trickflow 240s. 265 265 at .050 and 650 650 lift on a 108 lsa. Roller. Super victor and 1050 dom. Want to be close to 10.0 at 3500lbs.

I have to put my junk together and get it on the pump.

I’m stuck because I’m considering using some Ti intake valves I have, but that means putting seats under the intake valves and doing another valve job.
Just get it done with stainless and do the seats later. You're almost done !

Glad to see someone else using 240s, I have them too with a 850 × 2 tunnel ram, 12.9 compression
264-268 solid flat .
My engine makes 685-690 .
You should make your upper hp goal.
1st take with my engine tf intake and 850
11.5 compression 260-264 cam made 620hp.
