I agree with you that many cars here are not my style BUT....I would NEVER say it. I was taught if you didn't have something nice to say...don't say anything!
Words for all of us to live by. It just makes things easier here as well as in life!

I wasn't talking about people here just People in general. Mine is far from perfect and I have some ugly stuff (hidden of coarse) on mine my grandfather used to say that line every time my grandmother said beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just thought it was funny. These discussions should be tied to the never ending story thread

I've been wanting to paint my bumpers same color as the car but my 21 year old talked me out of it.

My 67 Dart came with a 68 grille, with the bonus center divider! Painted in a thick coat of gloss black. Ugh. I figured out the grille was wrong but discovered the bezels were correct, but with that thick goo on them. That was the first thing I learned about my car. It's bugged me ever since, along with the black engine bay! I found another (several) grilles, and finally a driver quality set of bezels. My grille looks awesome in it's factory finish and I love it!

I never painted my radiator support black and don't wanna take the grill apart again to do it so I just live with it. If I can you can too. Unless someone want to come over and do it for me.

Steering wheel shoulda been a dead give-away.
The mopars from mexico, australia, etc are all really interesting. Some of them kept the really excellent bodies for a lot longer than the domestic market did.
just curious. surely that was not a OEM mopar hood!!????

I am probably wrong but I thought most of the Joe Dirt type "upgrades" happened in the 80's when these cars were thought be worth next to nothing. I don't see many cars today straying from stock look besides rat rods etc.
Personaly, I think A bodies look much better with a little more wheel in the fenders. I can understand if guys n gals from that era appreciate the stock look though.

airbrushing my valiant to look old. Is there a difference??? And my grill is black, along with the trim, and bumpers. Ignore the red hood. I need the red as the base for when I airbrush that part of the car.
I'm just happy to see these old cars continue to live on. No matter how they look, if they are still running the streets after 40-50-60 years later, that to me is the coolest thing ever
