Winter time model building thread.

Next projects. 1972 plymouth duster and 1965 chevelle.
The model kit was designed to be a replica of the Z-16, first big block chevelle. But mine be a regular SS327 for a friend. This meant chopping up the rear taillight panel as the Z-16 had unique trim.

I just finished this kit-bashed '75 Dart sport. I built it using the left over parts from building the replica of my own '73 Dart. I had used the majority of the parts from the Landy '68 Dart along with the nose piece from the '75 Dart sport to create the '73. I had the '75 body & the front bumper & grille as well as the rear tail panel left over from the '68 so I put it all together to come up with this. I think it turned out pretty good, it is definitly unique

Sweet! Very nice work.

Thanks dge467 I was very happy with the way the Magnum turned out. Here's a couple pics of one of my oldest kits a '62 Lancer GT it was in very rough condition when I got it, I did a "Resto" on it about 8yrs ago. I thought judging by your avatar that you would like to see this one
thats an awesome model!:prayer:

Thanks guys! There is lots of talent in this thread, I'm very impressed with everybodies work on here. This is the Dart (replica of our own) that the parts from the '75 sport were used on and left me with all the extra stuff to build the custom dart sport. Considering that the Dart Sport was an AMT/Ertl and the Landy '68 Dart was Revell the parts all interchanged very nicely with very little work. These both were fun builds.:profiler:

some one should actually make that car if i had a dart sport instead of my duster i would be stealing that idea right now! lol good job

I need to post my 6 I'm doing now. 3 '68 Darts, '06 Super Bee, '73 Street Charger and a '70 RR.

I love the color of that coronet Dge467. outstanding. That coupe is badass Dodgefreak. Love the redlines. Did they come that way or did you paint the lines on? Any Sassygrass...nice work especially the lime green one.

The redlines are painted!! The tires that I used had the small groove around the sidewall so with some acrylic paint and a sharpened toothpick we got some real nice redline tires.:glasses7:
