This car lives 2 miles from me and I grew up with the owner-Here is my advice--RUN-RUN-RUN -RUN -RUN- GET THIS CAR OFF YOUR MIND and find another-If you proceed i can rest easy because you were WARNED--just trying to help another member-Car has been for sale for the last 5 years here on craigslist--NO ONE looked at it--Swifter

Heres one that sold for $7500 automatic, no air grabber, rusted 1/4 panels, non original motor... Judging from other bidding on ebay right now if it were an auction he would have a $14,000 bid on it. It may not make it to $17,500 but who knows. If the guy is a crook, who knows, he has other pictures to pour over. There is no way of telling if the other ebay sellers are any better or worse.

I think you are correct on the value if the seller is being honest. I can certianly understand not wanting to accept a Mustang in an offer.
