One album... not possible... your favorite today will change tomorrow
maybe 'top ten' albums could work
 
Over the test of time and I am now 50... hands down, AC/DC Back In Black is my first choice for a go-to flashback of great times in High School.

One of them albums that is meant to listen to from beginning to end and always in the same order.

There are many more great ones, of course.
 
This is not a fair question. I couldn't even begin to limit to just one band never mind one album. I'll have to give it some thought between:
Tool
Led Zep
Black Sabbath
 
...MetallicA "Master of Puppets" Then followed to a second Ozzy Osbourne "The Ultimate Sin" 3rd, AC/DC, "Highway to Hell".....

BUT the "metal" goes on and on AS LONG as its Speed metal, or Heavy Metal, or Hard Rock, none of that damned "Death metal stuff, I like to understand what they're saying/singing, NOT screaming!
