They refused to acknowledge our payment. This is so frustrating especially since I can't drive out there to show them the receipt of payment.

Only if you apply for joint credit. Then they go by the lowest score. My credit is a 720, my wifes is a 620 because most everything is in my name. If we apply for a Mortgage they will use her credit score and jack up the interest but if we dont use her name I dont have enough income to qualify.

Thats how they make there money. By charging you more anyway they can.
 
All you guys that say credit is bad and it never does any good etc need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I have made Hundreds of Thousands of Dollars with money borrowed $$, you just have to be disciplined.

I bought my first investment home 17 years ago with 18K off of my Credit Cards. I put 4K in to the house, new carpet paint etc. Sold that house in less than 30 Days before the Mortgage payment was even due. I made 22K off that transaction and the Interest Carry on the borrowed $$ was only about $400.00. I did this multiple times and at 1 point I had 6 of these going on at the same time with NONE of my own $$. I have several other real life experiences that made alot of $$ without any of my own and quickly. I have made more than most people make in a Year in 1 Month off of borrowed $$ well over 60K.

You think the wealthy use their own $$ to make $$. Think again.

I have been at this game for a long time now.

I can tell you when I started out the only thing I had was credit. I did not have 2 nickels to rub together and that is No Lie. Married 2 Kids working a Union Construction Job for 13 years living paycheck to paycheck not knowing how I was gunna pay all the bills. I quit that job in less than 1 year and have worked for myself ever since.

Flipping those houses and working my regular job was 80-100 hours per week. You need to commit is all I can say. I did not see my family much for that first year.

True but I figured I would rather try and fail than have any regrets. Everyone I knew told me you cant do it including my parents and closest friends. Funny cause all of them have asked to borrow some of that $$ that I would never be able to make...... Lost friends too and helped others do the same as me.

All I can say is don't get caught in the negative "you can't crowd" once there it will be a miracle if you ever get out. I know this from first hand experience and I'll leave you with that.

If I was younger with less responsibilities I would try that but I am stuck with security and afraid of more risk that I am currently taking on by starting to farm along with a day job. Construction skills would help making money flipping houses also.
 
What have you got to lose? Like Bob Dylan says when you aint got nothing you got nothing to lose.Youre invincible,you got no secrets to conceal.

Why did you need a credit card for that? You need credit when you allow yourself to fall into the credit trap.
