What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

Wife wants to know what kind of car I get for her sister?
Until we see the sister. This is the offer. Trust me it's fixable. Lol

Finally finished test fitting all the brackets and got the valley pan off. Looks cleaner in there than the rockers were.

Pushed my Monaco 4 speed into the garage with the help of my neighbors. Now to clean out the garage so I can work on my two projects, the oldest (23yrs) on the right, and the newest (5/20) on the left. 8 months to come home is a long time.

Added foam under my seat and covered it with a Coffee Bean bag. Now my car smells like Coffee Shop. :)

Yep the previous owner did some interesting things.
Yeah I'm just being a smart-***, best of luck on your rebuild. I just spent more money than I want to admit on a paint job and body work and the guy replaced some original fasteners and bolts with whatever he had laying around and and broke off at least three hood scoop studs.

The good news is that there is no evidence anything else has been changed other than the intake manifold. All of the original heat shields for the spark plugs and wire looms are intact. Still has the steel shim head gaskets.

I had the same thing happen on my car too. They were trying to use metric bolts. On a 1972 Dart. Really Dudes! Get you act together. I called them out to find the original bolts. They did.
:wtf:

Installed the LED instrument light bulbs today. Looks like only 2 are working. Will pull the dash and troubleshoot...but not this weekend. I want to drive it tomorrow!!

Hopefully it warms up a bit tomorrow. Its 32* here at the moment. But my heater will have you winding down the windows in short order!

The seat is ready to go back in. I even put a copy of the build sheet back under the springs. :)

Finally getting back on track with my 5.9 build. Got my rods with ARP bolts and resize from machinist. Measuring up the crank, rods and bearings for clearance. Also fabbing up pan baffles and scraper.

More disassembly. Got the exhaust manifolds off, and removed the heat riser, since I will be running a blocked crossover valley pan. Other than the intake manifold it definitely has not been apart before.
