Stop in for a cup of coffee

I cruised on a carrier and an amphib (LHA). No subs, no thanks!
You couldn’t pay me to be on a sub. No way.

I did explore the idea of going Navy but they didn’t have battleships , they’d just decommissioned the last ones a few years before I was old enough to join. I didn’t want to be on some random boat, I wanted the biggest guns.

I spent a couple hours at the new house yesterday. They turned the sprinkler system on and tested the system. It has a few minor issues the seller will have to fix. I checked the water meter and should no usage after we turned it off.
For some reason the water meter showed 2k gallons used in December after the owner had left for Oklahoma. I had the owner disconnect a water yard spigot. I wasn't going to use it and it just looked ugly out there. After the care taker and I dug it down to the water line it appeared to be the leak. We capped it and there doesn't appear to be a water problem.

My co-worker just retired and bought a house in Texas, had same kind of issues with sprinklers. Located the damaged area, fixed it and the neighbor came over and commented how he thought he had seen the damage occurring years ago, was glad he was addressing it as that grass had been brown for years.

I better buy a lottery ticket. I just peeled a hard boiled egg in one piece. Never done that before!

Twat's up yall? I gotta go to Round Oak this mornin to help my uncle with his dead battree Dakota. Since they don't live there full time, the tuck sits for long periods and the battree finally yacked. I think he wants it tuned up too. I'm hopin it ain't a POS 4.7. LOL

I just pulled my ad seeking production workers. It is pointless. I pay 19-21 dollars an hour with full benefits if you can fog a mirror and pee in a cup. I even allow the candidates to set the date and time for interview then we adjust accordingly. Out of the seven scheduled interviews last week six were no call no shows. I hired the only one that showed up.

Hopefully a 38teen. I have to go to my brother in law home and change out a breaker to his a/c unit outside, his old unit wore the breaker out.
Have a safe trip RRR

Thanks. That's what I'm hopin it is, as I know little about the 4.7. We'll see I reckon. lol

It's Falcon Friday!

Good morning :D

Good morning Guys. Work trip is all wrapped up. Just having some breakfast then off to the airport. Was a good trip. Learned a bunch, great weather, missed the snow back home, great people. Our new V12 outboard is just crazy fun. Running twins (1200hp) on a 42ft Boston Whaler center console.

Have a safe flight. We definitely gonna have to hear more about this V-12 outboard :steering:

I had posted a link to the unveiling a while back. 600hp, dual overhead cam, 7.6L, v12, 2 speed transmission, and engine doesn't turn as normal, lower unit gear case steers instead. Very cool

Wow sad but true. Until the government quits giving out their monthly free money the 10M unemployed number isn't going to change.

The seller had discussed the water leak with her neighbor/property caretaker and told him she ought to just leave it for the new owner.
He's a good guy and wasn't going to let that happen. He's a Vietnam vet, former hardware store/lumber yard owner. We get along like two peas in a pod. Going to be a great neighbor.
