The diablo predator does support it but it's pretty limited compaired to the later PCM's. Main thing is theres no changing idle speed. That and some of the controls you don't have with throttle rates and airflow tables makes it pretty limited when tuning a bigger cam. If it wont idle at 650...

Right you have to reflash to remove the skim code to get it to work. It also makes a ton of sense to settup to use a diablo predator for tuning as who doing this wants to be married to a stock engine.

If your PCM settup would allow a diablo predator to install it can be tuned to work with the 45 PSI pump. Thats what I'm trying to settup currently.

Are you staying stock with the 6.1 or going to mod it? From a torque standpoint you can about compair the 6.1 with a 440 they pull a strong flat torque curve. So I'd try the 904 and if it burns up go 727, my guess is you will have to have a decently built 727 to take it. One of my 392/6.1...
