I'm having a friend remove, rebuild, and reinstall my transmission. He makes a living out of his small shop so I would like to have all the correct parts in my hands before I take my car to him. Does any one know the correct, speedometer cable length, for a '68 Cuda with a 727? Thanks...

Did you stomp the pedal with either of the bleeder screws open? I checked out your thread and am thinking I tried most of those things last year but could try it again this year.

No I didn't, I'm running with the light disconnected. Pisses me off to, I spent so much time restoring a bunch of wiring.

Thanks. I regret not knowing the carb was bad when made all my changes. It was a blessing though, now that it's a hot rod with the new carb my tranny's got a short life left lol. Winter's just around the corner, I'm Hoping she'll make it.

Long story short, got car last November, ran two tanks of fuel, tore all apart and made several changes. A couple of changes were: (Remanufactured) Holley 750 CFM vac sec as opposed to the Eddy 800 CFM it had. and, 3:23's. as opposed to the 3:91's. Got her all done and it's been a fun...
