You'll likely need to also change your speedometer cable. 1967 used a screw on attachment. 1968 and later used the clip-on attachment as is on this speedo.

What piston are you using? cylinder head? 292 cam will need some compression. Gonna need some low end torque to get 3500lbs moving.
