    You normally get three "clunks" when it's engaged completely. If you can get your fingers behind it between the back of the converter and the transmission, it's probably not in all the way.

    7071dartgtreg (Bruce) had one of those cars. Complete with slant 6. It was a really solid, runnin drivin car. I don't know what became of it after his death.

    No they didn't sell out. They went global about ten years ago. Now they use several factories around the world, including some still here. So now you might get one made in USA, China, and several other countries. But WIX didn't sell out to anybody.

    I have several. Mine are 6V. If you PM me, I can fix you up with the regulator and a nice little heat sink too. The wiring diagram is found easily online. There are only three connections.
