    Home HVAC cost?

The moral of the story is: make sure your ladder is sufficiently tall for the job! Not until about 8 months later when I was finally able to climb a ladder again. So the entire summer, that damned rattle mocked me while I scooted around on my knee scooter. The installer left a strap too loose...

    Home HVAC cost?

@ProjectBazza nailed it. My quote last year was $20k and I almost spit out my beer, so I found a guy who does side jobs and did it for $12,000. ....but then I fell out of my attic investigating a noise after the install and broke my foot to the tune of another $10k.....can't win sometimes.

    Rear brake line help

That line would be in the garbage can if it were mine. No sense penny pinching when it comes to brakes.

    Stanley Cup !

I never really got into hockey, but that was a GREAT game! The fellas I was watching it with were expecting more fights, but I think the players knew what was at stake and were on their best behavior so they could stay in the game. Yay, or nay?

Not the worst option! I have a slant car and a 440-6 car. Cruise when I want to cruise, annoy the neighbors on Sunday mornings the other times.

Parts transport help or advice to get it shipped

He also said you might have better luck on centraldispatch.com, or there are FB groups of RV transporters that you could reach out to. Hope that helps.

Parts transport help or advice to get it shipped

I have a buddy who hauls loads (also lives in Tucson). He said he could try to find something going that way and something coming back, then add the door to his load -- possibly next week. I can give you his info in a PM if you're interested.

    Chalky coating

Mine look the same, and were not used on a dyno or run stand. I don't think I did anything wrong during the install, yet they turned out that way. I'll be following along.

1968 Barracuda Trunk Trim Restored by PartsMonsta

I know it's too late, but all he had to do was add 4% to the charge to cover the fee for "goods and services," then both the buyer and seller are happy. Sorry you're going through this.

My 68 Cuda Trunk Trim from Steve Clair Young

That's some half-assed packaging right there. Anyone who ships parts should pack their stuff so that it will pass the "10 foot drop test." You should be able to drop your package from 10 feet with no damage to the parts. Sucks that you're in this situation, but can you massage the trim back into...
