The large hole in the transmission (drivers side just above the oil pan) is for the bracket that has a bushing for the shifter rod. There is also another bracket on the frame. Try Stephens Performance www.shopmopar.com
I'm looking for a gas station air meter or as it sometimes called tire flator. Its the old style that stands up and has a crank to set the pressure. One of the makers is ECO. I would like one that I could rebuild and is functional. Thanks
Please don't by a hood from unlimited. They are made like s__t. I bought a bolt on style and the threaded holes were put in the wrong locations, the rear angle was straight instead of curved in, and the under side was rough. Got rid of it cheep, lost money on that deal.
I just got my 2009 Challenger SRT8 6.1 Hemi 6 speed, awsome car but I have more fun in my 71 scamp 340 4 speed 4:10 rear. Sounds crazy but something about it makes it worth all the work I put in it. But when I finish my 71 Demon 5.7 hemi I guess I will be totally confused.
I had the same problem, 340-air gap manifold. I cleaned the area with starting fluid and ran a bead of permatex Hi Heat sensor silicone and the leak stopped.
I use a small container filled with moth balls under the hood, inside the car and in the trunk. It keeps everything out, don't forget a few in the tail pipes (Don't even ask me how I get the balls off the moths)

The deck should be the same. We could cut it out with the panel between the window and the trunk. The price would be resonable, we would have to crate it and don't know what the shipping would be. let me know what you think.
The troubleshooting contest was one of the best events of my life. I participated in this contest in 1970, my partner and I won. Chrysler Corporation set up cars with defects under the hood (carb, fuel pumps,points/condenser wiring problems etc.) and the idea was the first team to find the...
The only advantage to the old style K frame is that you could shim up the motor mounts. I had to do this to fit the TTI headers. There is a specific distance from the k frame to the center of the crankshaft.
