Stop in for a cup of coffee

Property tax here is capped at 1 percent. But considering medium house prices are right around 700k that adds up quick.. I only pay 1600 a year. On a million plus place. Because I have lived here so long. They don't re asse till it is sold or when you do improvements requiring a permit...

    Anybody use clutch tamer

I ran a powergrip HD. It had a pretty harsh engagement below 2000rpm with 3.23 gears. It worked excellent with a clutch tamer at the track. Does the clutch disc you are running have a regular sprung hub or are the springs encased in urethane? I think you said on Facebook you are running a...

    Goodbye Torqstorm, hello Spoolius Ceasar

I'm a tinkerer.. and I check plugs pretty often. So if I know there is a problem, it drives me nuts.

    Fresh carnage!

I wonder how much oil gets sloshed around the front of an engine just by oil that escapes the front bearings and front of the oil pan.

    V.I.N. Rivets in door jamb

Just drill them out like any other rivet. Easy peezy. For the replacements, you can slide the rivet part off the rivet shank, softly chuck it in a drill, and touch it to some scotchbrite, followed up by some polish and a microfiber to give it some shine before popping them in place.

The little 318 & Racer Brown's quality products

I have a 5.2 Magnum shortblock I have been thinking about building to replace a Slant Six in a 72 Demon. A general consensus is to build a 5.9 or go big and stroke it. I already have 2 cars with mild 318 LA builds which are plenty fun but sometimes I feel the need to go with more, which...

Gen3 Hemi Standalone System ACES JACKPOT

...all this setups They self adjusting certain parameters but you have to give it a base map and a starting point. And that is up to you. It will start right up and give you immediate readings that you should tweak. Once at 160* the learning begins , but it learns based on the "base" you...

I love the turbo thrust wheels,,, are they 4 inch bolt pattern?

    Fresh carnage!

I do not like the tube, looks like another disaster waiting to happen. I do like the safety wire. I like having 4 bolts to secure the thrust plate, especially without gallery plugs since that plate also seals the oil galleries at 65 psi. Just use the bolt with the hole. I checked chain...

Agreed. Having the windshield should help tremendously.

    Drawbacks?

Weird. I went back and looked at your thread and was stumped. Not that I am some expert or anything. Glad it worked out in the end.

    Goodbye Torqstorm, hello Spoolius Ceasar

Man, I can relate to that... It's unfortunate you had to switch back to gas from E85 due to availability, because you can get away with cruising a bit fat on E and it won't foul plugs or run dirty. I battled my cruise AFR a few years ago, trying to clean it up. Just like yourself, I had idle and...

Gen3 Hemi Standalone System ACES JACKPOT

Thanks! No VVT though, and no mention if it can support SRV. And no support for the '08 and older? Self tune only works for stock to mild builds which isn't the typical build that would lock out VVT.

Are rear exhaust manifold bolts open to crank case or oil passages?

Neither. They are open to the water jacket.
  29. RustyRatRod

    Fresh carnage!

I never have understood why people are so scared to drill a .040" hole through the thrust plate right in line with the main oil galley so the timing chain gets pressurized oil. It's just so easy to do and costs nothing.
