    NGK spark plugs breaking.

I have also used a piece of rubber hose that pushes firmly over the porcelain end and spun them in that way. New hemi's have long tubes too, and it's helpful.

    340 head, intake advice please

Nevermind. I'm stupid. You were talking about the intake ports. Yeah, it's a bit of a mismatch, but Chrysler did it with millions of 318 four barrel engines. They used the large port intake on the small port head. Opposite of what you're doing, but still, they must notta thought much about it...

    340 head, intake advice please

915 heads are not small port. They are the standard 340/360 size port.

    1967 Barracuda column collar question

I had to do this once on a 69 Polara, I had the column out of the car and I still felt like it was a three hand job. Part of the problem I had was it was a column shift car and the shift lever kept moving the collar out of alignment. I think that if you put pressure laterally you might be able...

[FOR SALE] Early SB valve covers

they came off of a 68 coded motor from a 68 car that was fairly unmolested, so i'd guess they're correct for 67~69. they're probably the same for 64~66 non commando motors. definitely not 70+

You can swap them from side to side if you want the calipers in the rear. You'll just need a different brake hose.

    Petronix Electronic Ignition Any Good?

The nice thing about a pertronix unit on a points distributor is if it ever goes bad you can convert back to points in about 10 minutes and be on your way. Just carry points and condensers in the glovebox. On the other hand, I have had pertronix on two cars for 4 years and 1 year and had no...

1966 Dodge Dart Convertible disc brake conversions

So I found a a 75 Plymouth Duster with disc brakes on the front it came with the 6 cylinder and has the 9 bolts for the rear end which it means if I understand right it has 7 and 1/4 rear end is this going to be the big bolt pattern because I want to use different Wheels than I have now

Stop in for a cup of coffee

One of the first things my dad taught me. You see a ball bounce out in the street, slow down, and get ready to hit the brakes. A kid will be right behind it.

    Brakes

...the booster could contribute to this, exacerbating the issue, but pedal travel starts with the master and what the fluid is or is not doing. i'm *guessing* they just knocked on a booster and master cylinder, called that done and shipped it. which if that's the case besides needing to...

I found that same issue with the Performer I put on my 351W MoFoCo. Just not that much better than the iron I took off of it. Sure wasn't the Torker I put on my 289 previous to that. That 289 was an animal! :steering:
