    67 Barracuda Carpet Issue

Waaahoooo! Pulled the back seat and worked the carpet for a while. Added some screws under the seat area to hold the carpet while I pushed it into place. Exceeded my expectations and looks great so far. Taped off and shot some paint on a couple of interior panels while I was at it. Will...

    67 Barracuda Carpet Issue

Yes, I see your point and will pull the seat. Maybe as I push the carpet left I can pull it right father under the seat to try and relieve the big fold.

    67 Barracuda Carpet Issue

I do have the sill plates and extensions off. This thing is going to drive me to drinking.

    67 Barracuda Carpet Issue

When I pull it left, the carpet straightens out, but lifts way lifts way off the floorboard.

    67 Barracuda Carpet Issue

Hopefully one of the masters on this site can help me with my carpet issue. The carpet was replaced by the previous owner and fits nicely in the front section. In the back seat floorboard area, the carpet wants to bunch up and fold over when I push it into the corner. It seems like it is...

67 Barracuda Back Seat Cams Missing?

I’m happy to report that the 67 Barracuda back seat is completely installed and operating properly. Thanks Dana67Dart (seat cams), Rat Rod AL (spring and link rod), barracuda kid (hinge covers, shims). Other parts came from Amazon and a local welder fixed the broken spot welds inside the seat...

Southwest Mopar Nationals - Rowlett TX 9/28/24

Thanks for the responses and I will definitely sign up. My very first car in high school was a 67 Barracuda and our family bought this Barracuda about a year ago. Restoration was well on its way when we got the car and finishing up the process has been very special to me and my family. My...

Southwest Mopar Nationals - Rowlett TX 9/28/24

I see where there is a Southwest Mopar Nationals in Rowlett TX on Saturday 9/28/24. My 67 Barracuda has never been in a show (at least under my ownership) and I am thinking about joining in. Do any other members here plan on going to this? I would like to meet other Barracuda/A-Body...

[Found!] 67 Barracuda Rear Seat Hinge Covers

I think I am missing covers for these hinges based on other pics I have seen. Also, I think there are supposed to be long and narrow “u” shaped spacers under the hinges. There were none when I pulled the back seat out. Anyone have either of these for sale?

[Found!] 67 Barracuda Rear Seat Internal Parts

I need a replacement spring and actuator rod for inside the rear seat of a 67 Barracuda. I am guessing the 68 and 69 would be the same. You can see from the pictures below that my current rod is bent and the spring is broken.

67 Barracuda Back Seat Cams Missing?

Will return these to Amazon and get different ones once the cams are ready. Very encouraging though that a many bushing options are available. Is there baseline for what the perfect bushing looks like in terms of ID/OD, nose length, and flange diameter?

67 Barracuda Back Seat Cams Missing?

Picked up these bronze bushings. Fit one side perfectly and the other side will have to be cleaned up a bit for the bushing to slide in.

    It had to happen sometime!

Ouch, sorry for your loss and glad you are okay It must be tough with a car you have spent so much time with.

67 Barracuda Back Seat Cams Missing?

I pushed back each of the tabs in the seat back cover and carefully peeled it off. Looks like a couple of damaged parts inside. The rod link must be bent and the spring appears broken. See pictures below. The release rod looks okay along with the bearing/lever assembly. Anyone know where...

67 Barracuda Back Seat Cams Missing?

Pulled the hinges off and they look operational. I’m clearly missing the following so far: 1. Cam for each side 2. Bearing for each side that fits against cam 3. Shim for each side. They were none when I pulled out the seat. 4. Hinge covers for both sides - there were none We pulled the...

    1967 Barracuda Seatbelt Mystery

Seatbelts are on and look great. Huge issue with the back seat belt installation was that my exhaust hangers mounted to the back of my seatbelt bolts. When the seatbelt bolts were removed, the exhaust brackets came loose and were just hanging under the car. After installing the seat belts...

    TTI Ceramic Header Rust Question

Okay, I am happy now. Bought the VHT high temp silver and it worked great. Couple of after pics shown below. I am okay with retouching them up from time to time.

67 Barracuda Back Seat Cams Missing?

Back seat latch in my 67 Barracuda will not release to fold down. I pull d the seat back out for inspection. Am I missing the cams? If so, where do I get them?

    1967 Barracuda Seatbelt Mystery

Looks like the ones my wife bought are correct for a 1967. Maybe I should just put them in and move on. The fully enclosed are nice but not worth trying to send these back for something that was meant for a 68-69 anyway.

    1967 Barracuda Seatbelt Mystery

I didn’t see where Vans or Dante’s carried them. Poking around the web a bit more it looks like maybe ours came out of a 68 or a 69. The picture below shows belts from a site labeled as 68-69 that look very similar to our old ones. Maybe the clasp design was updated for safety reasons...

    1967 Barracuda Seatbelt Mystery

My wife bought me new seatbelts for my birthday (yes!) as replacements for our 1967 Barracuda fastback and got them from a company called Seatbelt Solutions. Sitting them side by side they look totally different - see picture below. The one on bottom is the old one. The clasp is different...

    67 Barracuda Door Lock Ferrules

The flange on the one I have covers the holes on both sides. Thinking that I can just super glue a set of new ones on. Thoughts?
