I really enjoyed that video petty, what an awesome sight and I am diggin the big meats! Man does she hook up now. The car even looks as mean as it is! Lol! another corvette eater is born!
Welcome to you, you have come to the right place to find anything or anything about your new car. Sounds like you have a little work to do but nothing that can't be fixed. Looking forward to seeing pics of the car, we love pics here!
There is a guy on Club Hotrod that uses the 8.8 posi out of an expleror for all of his builds because they are 3:56 or 3:76 gears and disc brakes. He has had great luck putting big HP through them.
Thank you Leana, of course there are the 2 curved end pieces and the hinge pieces. Can some of the pitting be cleaned out? I am powder coating because of the bad condition and hard to replace so if ground upon it won't hurt any.
That is the one CaferacerX, they have the suspension things I had seen before, good stuff'. Thanks.
I wonder if Leanna can powder coat this for me, it is rare to have the emblem on a 66 so I want to keep it but I am not having any chrome except the grill.
Ya, thats what I am looking for but there was a racing outfit somewere that sold them a little cheaper and they also sold reinforcing plates for the bottom of the LCA to make it stronger. I like those adjustable shocks they sell at RMS also, very cool. I am needing front and rear sway bars...
I'm going with roseville bushings, they look like good qaulity parts. When my old laptop cookied I lost my contacts, I did know of a company that made adjustable upper a arms for my 66, anybody know who that may be?
Great Looking Valiant, I like the lines. You may be able to shoehorn a 400 in there but for less hassle I would go with a sb. You do see some of them with screeming /6's and they really haul the mail but I am a V8 soundaholic.
Very cool Petty, i was thinking of coil spring shocks for the rear, and a sway bar. That will be my next investment, what are you guys running on yours?
