    Anybody use clutch tamer

Ram's 10.4" dia full iron disc paired with a 2800lb Powergrip PP has pretty poor street manners, even with a 'tamer on the pedal. Disc has a lite thin flat carrier, which means most of it's 5.1lbs is around the outer dia. Hard to slow down, not really an option for a synchro trans. The 10.375"...

    Tf727 rebuild

All you need is a telescoping gauge set or a good set of inside calipers and measure the wear in each bushing vs spec. As Murray said, always replace the front pump bushing. They get heavy wear from the converter.

    318 build

How do you figure ? Based on what ? Basically if the OP is fine making 200-300 hp then the stock heads are fine but if wants to make over 300 hp he needs to do something about the heads needs more air flow.

    318 build

This most likely will stir up a hornet's nest. I wouldn't put 360 heads on a mild 318 build. In order for the 318 to fully benefit from the larger ports and valves of the 360 heads the 318 needs to spin 6,000 plus rpm's. The cam that the op listed most likely doesn't have this rpm capability and...

Help me buy an $80,000 car

Not sure when painted but looks like no underside work was done going on the surface rust, i would want it mint inside and out. Problem is how much filler is in it etc etc and a bog stock 318. I get it but at the same time i dont, paying 80k to be slower than a suzuki swift. Buy at your own risk...

Help me buy an $80,000 car

bunched up janky headliner? that's an automatic fail on the DTM scale! all kidding aside, i'll echo what others have said upthread: the market is super hot right now, and it's a good looking car, but i don't think it rates 80K. especially not as bread and butter 318 car that's been upgraded...

Sell that cam, you don't have enough converter for it. That cam doesn't like to putter around on the street.

    Steering column seal, gasket, busing?

Looks like an early A that was column shift automatic and changed to cable floor shift. That opening would have been your column shift assembly. I would cut the column end so its even and get or make something like this used on newer columns.

    1971 Demon, FC7 Plum Crazy

Love those Demons. It's even cooler to find such a low option car. Sounds like steering wheel was option too. No rear arm rests is first time I've seen it. Good luck with the project.

    Pinging on acceleration.

Octane? I would poura higher octane race fuel in it and take it for a ride.

440 build working with what I’ve got

Its a 440 It will probably be a hand full in a light car with street tires. What do you plan on doing with it? Put your money you get into making it safe . Then dial the engine in .
