    Congrats to member Scampin

Congrats on your low timeslip. I actually still hold the New Zealand F.A.S.T. record here with my now ex. 1970 Plymouth GTX. Fresh from a photoshoot and not long after a major car show - absolutely as heavy as it could be - the only thing different between then and when it left the dealership...

Which years had 100 or 120 mph speedometers?

Probably depends upon the vehicles.... my '68 A100 has a 100mph speedometer. To be fair, back in the day these things barely pushed 70mph without issues. :p

    Choose me a steer tire

I'm running the Hankook Kinergy tyres now. Took the BFG's off and set fire to them. :p

    Stop in for a drink.

With coke and ice if the coke's not cold enough. About 25% rum.

    Stop in for a drink.

Lined up the latest batch of empties. Bought nine more full bottles over the past two weeks. :p

    FABO Gold Members selling products

I have seen a few people who join up and actually sign up for Gold very soon after - if not the same day - - mainly over at FBBO. It made me wonder a while back if people feel pressured to chip in......that is not the case or the intention. Most people who buy Gold do it to enjoy the benefits...

    Stop in for a drink.

The good thing about 'Scotch' is that is must be by law distilled and aged in Scotland for at least the first three years of it's life.

You might like to look at the flexible nylon cable sleeving range..... ...either have the ends hemmed by someone or use a short piece of black heat shrink tubing to stop it fraying.

It was a compliment to you. :)

Who else has a TShirt addiction?

Guilty here also....I have hundreds of tee shirts....most never worn. Although I will wear this one today  ...since we were both born the exact same day.

How were the A bodies put together down the assembly line?

While this is not A-Body specific - it does give a brief but good insight into how a special car was built - The 1970 Plymouth Superbird. This car was a special due to being a modified standard model, and the story gives a fairly good idea of the processes during the build.....even though there...

Site sucks for mobile users because of ads

That's the number of times that sneaky members have done back-door deals to avoid using the correct forum when selling their parts. :poke: You Al obviously come under the 'members' total

Site sucks for mobile users because of ads

The adverts you see are based around your browsing history....so you need to ask yourself about what type of other sites you are frequenting.

That happens sometimes...nothing to worry too much about.

Site sucks for mobile users because of ads

Your lack of recommendations won't stop people joining. Your continued recommendations of Ad Blockers will hurt the sites..... your call.

Site sucks for mobile users because of ads

Well then, perhaps you need to be a little more sympathetic to Joey's cause. It costs a lot to run these sites, and I'm sure Joey is not make a fortune doing it.

    Stop in for a drink.

Alcohol is alcohol..... Back in 1987 I got sh*tfaced in a titty bar on the outskirts of San Bernadino. So bad I couldn't walk.....bouncer threw me out for putting some cash in the stripper's knickers....... would have got away with it if I hadn't used a fistful of quarters. :lol...

I solved that issue by re-wiring the front park lights into a headlamp with a 4W lamp fitted. Takes all that heat away from the amber plastic lenses. Amber (yellow) marker lights are for turn signals only now on mine....swapped out the inner contacts on each lampholder base.

They look and feel great. Get lots of comments .....some people don't believe they are factory seats. Goes to show that what some people know isn't worth bottling for sale.

   ...it's what we call "Kiwi Ingenuity" .... it is actually a pre-primed scriber for the ends of timber weatherboards and window frames for houses over here. Perfect fit so that it wedges against the roof-mounted stereo box and the doghouse lid. A must have for...
