Seeking advice on how to extract broken lug bolts

Ive done this to extract a broken shift lever screw on my KTM . I had a pilot hub machined to keep it centered . That bolt is identical to the hub caps on my 1993 Mazda b2600i 4x4. Which leads me to believe it is a widely used fastener for hubs .

Seeking advice on how to extract broken lug bolts

First, toss those broken bolt extractors in the trash. By the time you get those studs drilled and hammer those extractors in, they'll either lock the remnant in place permanently or break off and **** you even harder. Second, mag drill you say? Left hand drill bits. Start small and get it...

    Metal in oil

First off I screwed up in my post, I'm sorry. Big blocks use the left/right offset, LA small blocks use center line rockers. So you are good there. Rusty was spot on for you in his post with the shafts and push rod hole clearance. I checked 3 ways to get this right. Factory 69dart shop manual...

Butters "Winter Upgrades". . Starting a Little Early

I don't think so. I've tried adjusting them and thought I had the window all lined up finally, but it's right back where it was before. I think I actually even rebuilt them a while back. I have some noticeable cracks going on at my rockers at the back edge of the doors as well, so guessing it's...

Seeking advice on how to extract broken lug bolts

Excellent. I have a forklift and have owned a few so I get the front wheel drive thing. You will do good. Just slow and think about each step before doing it. Also- Dana’s idea about pre drilling a bolt is also a great idea. I can’t wait to try that.

    crankshaft gear issue

my question was if both the new sprocket and old sprocket were equally as sloppy then it may be the crank that's out of spec. either way, it should be fairly snug fit on there.

Should i even bother with with getting a higher compression ratio?

Just curious does the V/P index account/factor for VE% ? Eg.. if you have low VE% as most stock engines do, so less overall power potential but high V/P index so squeezing everything you can out of what potential that's there vs higher VE% but now have a lower V/P index to have a cam etc.. with...
