A 71 340 was the fastest year and it even had restrictive manifolds because of the awesome spread bore on top of that intake and intake was a great design also but that engine produced some serious power

Can we see pictures of the manifolds? If the previous owner did these mods they might have used 340 Manifolds too.

I got a set of 69/340 HP manifolds and I want $750 for them plus shipping and that's what I paid for them 2 years ago...got a set of 71 style for $575

Sure, they bolt on just fine, they just don't flow as well as the 340/360 manifolds due to the smaller port size. They tend to blow gaskets too because of that.

Exactly. Place an LA 340/360 intake gasket on one of those Offenhauser dual quad manifolds and you'll see why they cannot be bolted to the 340/360 head and actually seal. The SB 340/360 671 Blower kits used a modified dual quad Offy with welded up port areas. The welding added material and...

May or may not be much difference but may have leaks on a 340/360 head.

There are some mismatch issues between the 340 manifolds and magnum heads. A thread or two on here discusses that.

'68 - '70 340 manifolds are all the same and only available used. In '71 the passengers side was changed to a more restrictive center outlet design but driver's side the same. Reproduction nuts/bolts for 340 manifolds are available. The driver's side heat shield is not being reproduced...

273, if you're plan is to install on 340...don't! Either go the hipo manifolds (correct for your car) #'s 2863549 and 2863553 or go headers. Those 273 manifolds are worth $50 tops.

that won't work with these stupid 340 manifolds. wish i had went with tti headers. they were much easier to work with then these damn manifolds..

I am looking for a set of cheap used headers or exhaust manifolds to install for the break-in of a 340 in a 68 Dart GT. I would also be interested in renting a set of exhaust manifolds if reasonable and will pay shipping each way.

Welcome aboard! Another alternative is 340 hipo manifolds(#2863549 and #2863553)...I bet they would be comparable in price to tti or Doug's headers with less headaches.
