I bought these for my ‘67 Barracuda and to make them work in my application I’d have to modify the steering column tube. My car is all original and I don’t want to cut the tube. I’m looking to sell or trade them for 340manifolds.
$450 located in Woodland CA 95695
A 71 340 was the fastest year and it even had restrictive manifolds because of the awesome spread bore on top of that intake and intake was a great design also but that engine produced some serious power
Sure, they bolt on just fine, they just don't flow as well as the 340/360 manifolds due to the smaller port size. They tend to blow gaskets too because of that.
Exactly. Place an LA 340/360 intake gasket on one of those Offenhauser dual quad manifolds and you'll see why they cannot be bolted to the 340/360 head and actually seal. The SB 340/360 671 Blower kits used a modified dual quad Offy with welded up port areas. The welding added material and...
So I bought some manifolds that I thought were the two and 1/8 in outlet opening but they turned out to be the later model 94 and up exhaust manifolds. The guy advertised them as the early model manifolds with the two and 1/8 inch opening which I already had one of which I am going to use on my...
There two 340 intake manifolds one blue paint is date is august 11th 1967 and other march 17th 1970
$160 each and or trade one of that I am after OCT or NOV 1969. Shipping not included.
'68 - '70 340manifolds are all the same and only available used. In '71 the passengers side was changed to a more restrictive center outlet design but driver's side the same. Reproduction nuts/bolts for 340manifolds are available. The driver's side heat shield is not being reproduced...
Dam, first it was the 8 3/4, then the LD340, then the 340manifolds, then the 340 valve covers, then the 340 air cleaner, now the V8 center link ? Sweet Baby Jesus !!!!!!! I'm going Cheby.
273, if you're plan is to install on 340...don't! Either go the hipo manifolds (correct for your car) #'s 2863549 and 2863553 or go headers. Those 273 manifolds are worth $50 tops.
70 Dart with 340- Headmanns- Junk crushed passenger side collectors - installed factory manifolds and exhaust...fits nice:)
P.S. Id run the Headmanns open at the track but not on the street...
I am looking for a set of cheap used headers or exhaust manifolds to install for the break-in of a 340 in a 68 Dart GT. I would also be interested in renting a set of exhaust manifolds if reasonable and will pay shipping each way.
This whole system is under 4 months old with less than 300 miles on it. It’s a set of 10/30/69 Dated manifolds(no heat riser), correct manifold hardware, TTI 2.5” head pipes and as much of the mid pipe as you want up to the mufflers.
This is all in a 67 Barracuda Automatic car, should be a...
Welcome aboard! Another alternative is 340 hipo manifolds(#2863549 and #2863553)...I bet they would be comparable in price to tti or Doug's headers with less headaches.
1968 340 exhaust manifolds. Dated 9/67. Can be used on any 340 but really correct for 1968. Bringing to Mopar Nationals. Staying in Hebron Thursday & Friday nites. I will call you back during the days if you leave a number , $995.00
I'm just about ready for 1st fire up, engine is on run stand. Running the 340 hipo manifolds. I have this "header back" kit from Summit

Is there an adapter that mounts the stock manifold to 3 hole header plate?
Thanks
