    Quarter window weep holes?

Found them. Just didn't know what I was looking for. They are in the pinch weld under the quarter panel. I couldn't see light coming through from the outside to the inside so I did what any sane person would do and dumped a gallon of water in there from the cabin. Created a muddy mess and I...

    Tf 727 modify or not

As far as how many springs to put in the high clutch drum, that is going to depend on a few things. 1. How much pressure you will have the valve body turned up to 2. How many clutches and how much clearance you will have 3. Kickdown servo style (early 2 spring model, or late 1 spring model)...

    72 Dodge Dart Swinger

I believe I have the 2.7X or 2.9X rear end. Out of curiosity what are your speeds and RPM ranges? I'm going to do some more adjusting on my carb for idle and air mixture, and check timing, but I feel my RPMs are high. I need to drive it more to get a better base line, but am curious what you...

    Wrecking yard 8.76

I just picked up a 1971 dodge truck 8.75 from a local yard for $450. It came with brakes and everything. I noticed one wheel wouldn’t turn when I bought but figured it was E brake or just seized from sitting in the weeds for god knows how many years. Long story short. I noticed that the brake...

Small Block Engine Hardware Kit Identify Pars Required?

good deal then. the "correct" bolt for the cam isn't hyper critical. just make sure you have one that is correct length and has good engagement with a washer onto the "crush washer" that holds everybody together there. and don't forget the loctite.

    Nmca and Nmra are finished.

Just for example there will be 1200-1400 bracket races at Norwalk this week from starting today through October 13th. Every weekend there are 3-4 events going on at any given track not counting regular local 1000.00 Payout races. It may be bad in your area but not for us in the eastern states.

    What hose is this?

Hot air hose or heat riser hose. It ducts warm air to the air cleaner for quicker warm ups. THere is also a temperature/vacuum actuated trap door in your air cleaner snout that appears not to have a vacuum hose attached, so that whole system is essentially useless anyway.

    Annoying ticking sound while driving.

Hey all, I wasn't sure if I should put this in the Engine forum because I'm not quite sure if it is the engine making this sound (Or trans). It is a 1971 Demon with a 340 and 4 speed (Non Numbers engine and trans). I don't know a whole lot about the engine and trans build other than they were...
