    USPS delays

One of the reasons I will never send a package through the Post Office. They take your money and package and good luck with those incompetent workers delivering the whole item. They must really throw the stuff around because it's too hard to bend over and pick it up.

[WANTED] 1972 Dodge Dart A pillar Trim

Could you add a name to that address. Are you near Denver? I spent a year at Lowery AFB for Tech schooling back in 64. Denver was a great place back then.

[WANTED] 1972 Dodge Dart A pillar Trim

I don't know why nobody isn't reproducing these a pillar trims. The Dusters seem to be the big problem. I do take paypal. PM me your address and give me day or so to wrap them up. I will take special care so they don't get broke in transit.

[WANTED] 1972 Dodge Dart A pillar Trim

Here's a pic of what I have. I guess you don't have anything. $50 plus shipping. The shipping may be a little steep because I will pack them in wood so they don't break, actually tape them to the wood.

[WANTED] 1972 Dodge Dart A pillar Trim

Do you have a part #? I have 3674515 & 3674514 that are in very good shape. I bought them thinking they may fit a Duster but not even close.

[Found!] Demon duster dart a pillar molding

A while back someone here was looking for those to have them reproduced. I tried to search for him but came up empty. Whoever made them for Chrysler did a piss poor job because they just didn't hold up. At this time nobody has reproductions of these.

[Found!] Demon duster dart a pillar molding

Duster are very hard to come by. I was at Carlisle and not a one for Duster. My 74 Duster pillars look like they were eaten by termites. I did get a better set but $350 was the cost, not perfect but solid.

    Finally got my garage

After accumulating 40 years of parts that I'll never use again and building a 3rd car garage I never thought I'd run out of room. And if you throw something out today, tomorrow you'll be looking for it.

    Buckets into Factory Bench Car

Just don't use the bench seat hole. There are dimples where the bucket tracks go, but unfortunately the insulation is covering the dimples. Maybe you can feel the dimples thru the insulation, I'm actually away right now, but I think the dimps start about 2" in from the bench seat hole. I did...

[FOR SALE] Griffin Aluminum Radiator/Fan Combo

You can buy a spacer that is threaded for sensors it's about 1/2" and goes on the thermostat. It's a Meziere #wn 0028U, about $40. I have one on a Gen 2 Hemi for a sensor on F.I.. Hemi's and B engines have no water in the manifold.

Lets cut up a cylinder head

Is there an obvious flaw that you see? Maybe compare it to an X or J head, to see what the differences might be.

    Gen 2 hemi swap

The K frame for the Hemi is unique, due to the different motor mounts that bolt to the block. The elephant ears is probably the easiest way to mount it. I did my swap from 440 to Hemi and only changed K frame in a 71 Cuda and no interference problems. A body is a different animal though.

1971 Duster 340 10" front drum brakes - what other Mopar brake drum hubs will fit?

I've been driving Honda's from 1980 and I felt they had the worst brakes of any car I ever owned. My 80 Civic had solid front rotors and if I stopped hard at 70 MPH the rotors warped. My 90 Accord was a little better but still not that good. My other Honda's also left a lot to be desired in the...

1971 Duster 340 10" front drum brakes - what other Mopar brake drum hubs will fit?

If you have drilled and grooved disc's, they are definitely noisy. If you have 14" tires you can't use the 11 3/4 discs from the Cordoba which I use on my 71 Cuda with 15" tires.

Quick, probably dumb questions from a transmission novice

If I remember correctly, I used a deep socket and a C clamp to install new seal with out removing anything.

Southern California - no place to drag race in the birthplace of drag racing

I was going to Englishtown, NJ since the mid 80's. It was pretty much in the boondocks, homes were few and far apart. Over the years starting in the 90's they started building like crazy around the track. The Summer Nationals were held there, Mopar swap meets, and spring and fall swap meet. The...

'74 air cleaner - before and after

You have to remember it was over a 40 year period. The car was the cheapest part at $2000. The hemi is 22 years old. I had torque boxes welded in and with the Hemi a lot of the B parts didn't work with the hemi, Hemi K frame because no mounts available to put hemi on a B K frame. The cost of 2...

'74 air cleaner - before and after

I bought a 71 Cuda in 84, with no engine, and a Company advertised an NOS 440 block with pistons and rods for $250. Place was 3 miles from my home. I bought a 440 forged crank, had every thing balanced and ran it. The point I'm trying to make is I started to list all the parts and prices for my...

    New(er) Dodge aka Ram trucks.

I guess it has to be the 3.92 gears and 4 wheel drive and don't forget only the 5 speed auto.

Sometimes it pays to get up early.

It's also called being in the right place at the right time. I've made a few good scores, but I 've traveled a bit because shipping is getting too costly. or seller didn't want to ship.

    New(er) Dodge aka Ram trucks.

I have an 05 Ram 5.7 with 104,000 miles on it. I get 11-12 mostly hiway and occasional stop light. I pulled a plug at 102,000 miles and it looked perfect. Truck is 20 years old and has fired up everytime I turned the key. I just replaced the front calipers, because piston was frozen, and pads...
