I mailed a package a week ago Saturday from Uniontown Ohio to Portsmouth Ohio. Said it would get there Monday. Still hasn’t arrived. Tracking is useless. Doesn’t tell you **** and it is saying it will arrive late on the 12th. It’s the fn 16th. Anyone else had issues with them?

If you think USPS is bad, just wait till you order something from China. And maybe you know that UPS routinely hands off their stuff to USPS for the final trip. This is annoying all get out

I’m the rarity. I’m not well liked by some because of my work ethic. Fuckem. It’s sad but, true. A lot of government workers are ****.

One of the reasons I will never send a package through the Post Office. They take your money and package and good luck with those incompetent workers delivering the whole item. They must really throw the stuff around because it's too hard to bend over and pick it up.

I've had a couple issues with the USPS, but it's usually smooth sailing. Two days for local mail, got a package today that was sent Friday from my parents, right in time.

The arrival date says expected, it's not guaranteed to be there as it was in the past. UPS and FedEx are slower where I live, and more expensive, but sometimes they are my only option.

I was waiting on a part and talked to my local Postmaster whom said the conveyors can be very long and sometimes items get caught in a vicious circle. He emailed Facility back east and I received a couple of days later.

In a nutshell go to the source. I've got other stories where my local P.O. has given tremendous service.

I currently have three different packages on the US tour. They made it to the local distribution center just to go off in different directions, none correct. One went to Texas, one into Arizona and the other into northern California. Years ago I had one cross between the same two distribution centers (mine and one in Indiana) five times before actually being delivered.

Well , I just got a text it made it to Columbus distribution center. Let’s hope it keeps goin south.

I ship almost exclusively with USPS priority mail. Has been pretty good, with the occasional longer ship time.

All of the shippers have issues. Just depends if it's your package for a turn in the barrel.

My latest favorite with USPS was a box from Cali to Maryland. It got to the distribution center near Maryland, then returned to me because the box was incorrect. Not their fault, but I wish they would have caught it when I dropped it off.

For what its worth, Canada Post is just as bad, if not worse in my opinion. They have had their multiple strikes with me and I will only use them if I have to. I had a package wrongly delivered to a city over two hours away once, and after calling Canada Post, they didnt seem to concerned, until I told them that it was a .357 magnum Colt Python, then I had that package in my hands within a couple of days :)

And here, it's worse..! A "lettre suivie" (tracked letter) posted on friday morning isn't yet entered into the tracking system today, tuesday. A domestic letter can take more than 8 days to arrive. The french postal service is a disaster. And in addition to be a disaster, they increase their fees by 10% in 2025. In fact, they increase their fees in proportion to their reduction of staff :BangHead:

At my local post office, there is one person there who really seems to care and tries their best to take care of the customers. But, there are three others there who really don't give a S**T. They act as if you are infringing upon their time. I was standing in line once and there was a tagged package put on the counter as instructed. Once the person dropped it off and went out the door, it got pushed off the counter into a bin. The package was clearly marked "FRAGILE", the worker who pushed it into the bin just grinned and shrugged their shoulders. USPS has been in financial trouble for decades and they know it, but the regulators don't want to fix the system because they are scared of the "UNION". I say put them on the street and make then earn their jobs back, and start them at the current minimum wage instead of the inflated wages they have.

LOL! There's always one
i dont know man, ive seen plenty of government employees, but workers?

We get packages thrown in the ditch, mail in the wrong boxes, missing first class mail from almost two weeks in the past, no regular carrier, and on and on. I just complained to my Congressional Representative two days ago. They are looking into it. Most our problems don't stem from the national level, but our specific zip code branch. They NEVER answer the phone. You have to lodge a complaint at the USPS web site to get a call. Then, if you happen to miss the call, they will not answer the phone. When you do get them, they act like they don't believe what all is going on and give you a standard rehearsed response starting with "Informed delivery is no guarantee of when you get your mail". No ****, Sherlock. Where's the guarantee it's gonna at least be put in the right fuckin mailbox?

Our post office was out of money orders for over a month. We only have one full time postal worker as the town is population 600. I just don't think she wanted to deal with them anymore. Several town members filed complaints online and we finally got money orders again.

Jeff Bezos was looking into Amazon acquiring the post office earlier this year. I sure wish he'd do it.
