    Evaluating old Wiring Harness

Personally, I would call Jamie at Mega Parts, he is less expensive than Year One, same M& H harness, even on sale, PM me as to why, not saying here on this thread. Or, call Evans wiring. Both are top notch. Remember, most harnesses on Mopars are individual. Wiper, trans, engine, dash...

yes..that was the other option I had suggested to him. The common person has no idea nor do they want to mess with something that can potentially kill them. :)

Stop in for a cup of coffee

I cut out soft drinks years ago, lost about 15 lbs. recently i quit sugar in my coffee. 5 cups/day is 5 traspoons of sugar. Doesent amount to much but that small change leads to 10lbs off since june.

You need an adjustable rod for the top.

I don't believe it's stainless and will just paint them the same color as my particular engine which is turquoise as the factory did it. Ceramic coating will change the thickness and stamping and possibly interfere with sealing since they are also gaskets.

    Kickdown rod adjustment.

If my kick down lever linkage is too short, is there a threaded adjustment somewhere in the lower linkage? my other choice is to cut the upper rod and add a sleeve to it to make it longer. 1974 Duster 318 auto converted from 2 barrel to 4 barrel carb.

Interesting thoughts and observations on OD transmissions

I had no idea the OD could engage in any gear except 3rd. Makes sense I guess . I have the solenoids for my 46rh . Should be in the car by spring ..

Interesting thoughts and observations on OD transmissions

300 rpms is like going from 3.55 to 3.23 on the highway, definitely a decent drop and don't have to sacrifice gearing to do it.

    Evaluating old Wiring Harness

You don't need to change the ampacities of any of the wires whether they are old or new unless you change something that requires a higher amp load. The engineers at Mopar had that pretty well covered in 1966. Age and failure to maintain these old harnesses by the owners is generally what causes...
