Yeah, for some reason I thought that car was an '80. Wishful thinking, I suppose. The '80 cars used an M-body hood and fenders. M-body coupes used F-body doors and windshield. The badge engineering and inter-body swap tomfoolery was rampant.

I like the A833OD and 3.21 gears in my '74. Cruises on the highway great, fun to drive. Not a bad combination for someone that isn't looking for every 10th in the 1/4 mile. I can only guess it will be that much better with 100 or so HP more than I have.

AJ/FormS, just to make sure I got this: pull the calipers and c-clamp the pistons. Pull the push rods from the wheel cylinders and c-clamp the pistons. Hit the brakes, then process of elimination per your outline. That makes sense. Bewy, same size piston, but good thought and had me digging.

I’d say the practical limit for the LD340 on OP’s combo would be 7000-7200.
