For its age and used in that era, does a mildly ported Torker flowing 236 at .500 suck?
Those are the specs on a friends car

I want a Torker for 2 reasons.
I'm using 70's speed parts on my car.
70's Torker were widely known. I love the design.

Secondly, I will be using 360 mag heads drilled for LA pattern for the Torker.

The CH318A Magnum as cast heads flow .227 @ .500

I'm very secure that this will be a good combo after I clean up the Mag heads , I'm hoping this will be enuff for 450 HP after all

Something is worth more to someone w one who desires it

Your second paragraph says it all. It’s your engine in your car. That intake is certainly period correct.

If that’s what you are going for then by all means use it.

It will do what you want it to and work. Lots of guys used them back in the day.

I say go for it.

It definitely has the look. You should be able to find one for cheap too.

Torker on the way from @66Valiant528
Very reasonable price
Thank you

Torker II didn't appear until '80's bro....& more resembled a Holley Street Dominator, which resembled a slightly lower Offy Port-O-Sonic, which is a bit lower than a Holley Strip Dominator......
Killer6 back in the day a had a SBM Offy Super Sonic. Have you ever seen one of them?

When I get a chance I’ll throw the Ugly Torquer on a better flowing set of heads I have sitting here. I might have an M1 coming for my sons car.
Ugly Torker, ? it's totally symmetrical
Well, all 9st

pittsburghracer , there is a rumor of you passing ? what up with that ? you posted here at 11:11 est today

It's a intake designed for a 4500 series carb. And it doesn't have the dividers in the intake runners.
After posting that, I saw the difference on the Olds versions, that should have some top-end potential.
