Reasonable time to wait for a response ???

Just looking for opinions on what would be considered reasonable time frame to hear back from a interested party. I responded to a wanted ad recently and I gave a price and shipping quote. Was told that payment would be sent in a few days. I agreed and requested only a US postal money order...

How much weight can you shave off of an A-Body...and still have it look/drive like an A-Body?

Concentrate on front weight. Put seat to back of list. Helps keep road noise down too.

How much weight can you shave off of an A-Body...and still have it look/drive like an A-Body?

The 360 magnum is the best Mopar choice in my opinion for any A body…even better than the new hemi if you are on a budget…I did a 360 magnum build on this site a few years back and it made great power…with some decent heads you can get 450hp no problem

    Removing a 318 from a van

wouldn't it have been nice if they would have made the entire front end (grill/supports/etc) swing open like a gate? That would have been genius.

Inner fender removal for weight reduction?

This is mine. I have bars that come from the cage that butt up behind the shock tower and sit on the frame rail. They are welded to the frame rail and the tower. The inner fenders were already cut out of my car when I bought it. Kim

I wish it was closer craigslist finds

I saw this last week on craigslist. Sunken to the rocker panels in new england soil. There cannot be much left of the frame rails and the floors. I doubt you could pull it out of there in one piece.

    Removing a 318 from a van

i feel seen. anyway, i know it can be done with a shimmy shake thru the pass door and it's not the worst thing in the world. i believe to go thru the front you gotta take off all the accessories + heads along with all the front end junk that's bolted on up there. pick your poison, i guess.

    Removing a 318 from a van

Are you keeping the van or just taking off what you need? I pulled a 360 with trans from a 75 van years ago. I used a Sawzall to make space in the front. If you take take carb off, you can chain it really tight and slide a engine hoist in and pull it that way. I cheated and did all the same...

    Removing a 318 from a van

The other choice is to remove the passenger seat and pull it through the passenger door. I've done this method before. Transmission needs to be removed first. Probably the cleanest way is to pull it out the front.

    ID THIS BLOCK

For many years I collected walls and shelves and crates full of literature—some of it scarcely ever seen outside of Chrysler Corp. Had to get rid of almost all of it when I moved in '19. I put up ads like this one, with pics showing a slim fraction of the collection. Got mostly cricket noises...

    360 TBI distributors

They can be used in Sniper or other aftermarket FI systems with ignition control capabilities, instead of paying for Holley or MSD's ridiculously overpriced offerings that are no better than these- considering most of the time they can be had at giveaway prices.

    Removing a 318 from a van

So I’m considering removing a tired 318 from my newly acquired 84 Dodge van. 1st thought was remove radiator and bumper/ grille and slide it out the opening. 2nd thought was take the van off the frame and roll the frame out and work on it like a gentleman. Swap out 904 for an over drive, rip...

Inner fender removal for weight reduction?

This is my novice opinion if your car is a dedicated race car already at 135mph then you would need a thought out full cage anyway. So cut out those fenders not for weight savings but for efficiency on wrenching on the motor. Instead of J-bars have the cage extend through the fire wall. Not...

    Piston ID

Yeah, I think I'll stick with the TRW pistons I got installed, even tho the ones I posted here would increase compression. I think I'm better off looking at a different converter(currently stock) and/or different rear gears(3.23). Engine runs great and has been pretty reliable since figuring out...
