There should be a drain hole in that boot at the bottom to keep from trapping water. Looks like yours might be there but can't tell if it's installed right side up. I poked a hole in mine
It's not quite an AVS2 but it works good. Definitely hit or miss depending on what engine it gets put on but I wouldn't turn a free one down. No way I'd buy one new at $400 or whatever they're asking
I've had two things cause that: mismatched needle/seat and too much float hang. Needle/seat was too tight and wouldn't slide easily. Too much float hang and it gets stuck in the bottom position after sitting without fuel in it.
It's a slight pain but you learn a lot doing it yourself. I had to make a few tools along the way. Best tip I can share is to use a wheel/tire/axle as a stand to work on the diff. That made things waaay easier than trying to wrestle with the pig on the floor or workbench
Spitfire shorty headers to 2.5" downpipe, 2.25" to mufflers, 2" from muffler to rear bumper. Dual Thrush turbos. Was supposed to be 2.25 the whole way but I'm okay with how quiet it is.
Those silvery looking bolts don't inspire confidence. Would look sweet sitting on the shelf next to the Lock Rite.
The Dr. Diff is $395. Damn $184 is cheap as hell
Agreed, just got done with that job a few months ago. Tempting but that open diff keeps me out of trouble when it rains. Had a lock rite in there and wow never again

Or best offer??? Wish I hadn't seen that. Thanks a lot buddy lol
One RA order, 2 identical sealed packages of same part. Different lengths, different ID and OD. The left one is substantially heavier.
They just let me keep them and refunded me 100% so that was good
I paid Hampton blowers 50% down on a sbm 6-71 complete setup and 5 months later had nothing but a mile long list of excuses. Refund and move on. Someone else might have one in stock.
spitfire/laysons tri-y shorty headers, very happy. Lots of minor work to make them fit right. Great plug access, starter not trapped, heavy gauge tubes. Quite a power improvement over 65 Barracuda 273 manifolds
