    Damn! Damn! Damn!

The "cloud" doesn't exist. It's just someone else's computer. Remember "The Fappening" in 2014? It was a valuable lesson that most people ignored. If someone sends me an important picture via phone, the first thing I do after storing it to the SIM card is download it to my PC. I use an old...

    [FOR SALE] Ignition switches

The 4 without the lock cylinder appear to be the '69 only switch. They made both 5 and 6 terminal versions. Check all for tight terminals, good bezel threads, and also the hole that holds the lock cylinder in place. Another area that fails is the plastic plate inside that the lock cylinder tang...

NOT MINE!!!! But...it does have four doors and the price is right!!!!

Honestly, If I was in a different part of my life, I would grab it. The rust doesn't look bad and for a driver, who cares.

340 Exhaust Manifolds on Edelbrock Heads

This is kind of an exhaust topic..... and kind of an engine topic. So, gonna post it here in "general". About ten years ago I put Edelbrock heads on a 340. The exhaust manifolds are '68-'70 castings. On the driver side where the manifold curves around the steering column; it curves back...

    [FOR SALE] Ignition switches

As you can see, some have slots to lock them into the dash, some may have a nub to do the same thing. (you need to remove the bezels to see them) '69 switches are a lot larger in diameter, '70-1 lock cylinders use a wide tang to attach them to the column, the '72-up ones use a pin.

    Damn! Damn! Damn!

Yep that's how they rope you in to a dependence on the damn things. Things that are that useful and don't get used up are a ploy for contractual payment for the rest of your life. It's not like refer or blow or even alcohol. When you use it up it's gone. Then you have to make a conscious...

Quick update: I just back from the Apple store, and I'm back in business. No, they couldn't locate my old phone (the battery had died), and since I didn't upload my photos to the Cloud, they're gone. At the risk of coming-off as overly sentimental, that hurts a LOT, as I had about a years worth...

[WANTED] Wanted: 1967 1968 1969 Plymouth Valiant Dash Bezel Black

I did as well, but I can't find any pictures or evidence of a 1967-'69 car without the hazard toggle on the cluster. The number I posted was apparently used up until January of '72, when it absolutely was the three round gauges. That one has the "FASTEN SEAT BELT" lamp to the left of the...

The fronts behind the struts are plastic. The drivers side has a metal one on the back of the rail if it was automatic, manuals didn't have that one

Yeah, I was thinking about this last night Jeff, and I'm still kicking myself for using my phone as a flashlight. It's a phone, and I shouldn't have tried to use it as a multi-purpose tool. Live & learn, I guess.

    Damn! Damn! Damn!

Sorry to hear about that. I know how you must have felt! For the sake of privacy I purposely chose not to do a Cloud backup (I disabled it), and I doubt I'll enable it on my new phone. Why? In the "small print" of the User Agreement that nobody ever reads, once you upload something to the...

Cold Case Radiator what fan and shroud are you using ?

Had improper gap between fan and shroud, but radiator and shroud cools my 418 just fine. Hayden #2947 clutch drive and 216 fan blade, on a cast iron Flowkooler water pump.

    Which exhaust gaskets?

I never put gaskets on any exhaust manifolds. If there is none there they is nothing to blow out and leak. The only time I have seen anything on them was the heat shields, If you can afford them. I never could so I would install them bare and never had them leak.

    Noisy Demon trunk lid?

I agree with above but silicone is a good adhesive and a small hole on tip of caulking gun you should be able to squeeze quite a bit in there.
