    Eric's cam challenge

That’s not my problem. Until the errors are fixed this **** continues. You can’t be that wrong and not get it corrected. You and I both know **** like this festers. Holley power valve timing is the perfect example of this, and this is no different. The dude is wrong.

Following the SKOSH chart - your experiences?

Old thread, but I wonder, have you changed the ride height from stock? I think I read some of your posts about the car when looking up caster settings and may have just missed it. It looks like the caster curves on the A bodies at least are pretty quick and will add a lot of caster as you drop...

    12:05 Garage- ’70 Duster build

...are untouched, the support rod on the front is not extended, and the factory hex head bolt is still on the rear splash shield. This is with 8* plus of caster. Say what you want about the coil over kits, you won't get near the amount of adjustment in every direction with the factory setup. I...

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Those God awful monstrous shock/spring towers they used sure messed up that engine compartment. I was walking through a car show and I spy a MoFoCo midsize, Fairlane, Falcon, Comet, I don't remember " That sucka has a Big Block in it!" I looked closer and the builder had carried out a thought I...

Bought another Fluke meter off ebay

I bought a Fluke 114 at Fry's awhile back when my Craftsman started reading AC voltage wrong. I've added a 117 recently. The 114 is in the "take it with" tool bag now.

    273 Commando Rebuild Or Not?

Leaking on all cylinders on one bank, to cause lower compression, is next to impossible. Leaking head gaskets are usually one cylinder or possibly 2 adjoining cylinders and rarely are they just 10 or so pounds lower than the rest.

    Dodge Dart Lite

It is a 4 speed. So for the popcorn crowd here is a neat story about this Lite. In 1997 I wrote an article for an Internet Site called Tailfins. It was a early Internet place for Slants and Mopars. I wrote about the Feather Duster and Dart Lite. After that a man contacted me from Chandler AZ...

    273 Commando Rebuild Or Not?

I was thinking perhaps it could be a leaking head gasket on the passenger side bank. Why not replace the head gaskets? From what I understand, the Commando came with longer valve springs then the 2 barrel version. What will putting 340 valve springs on the engine do? Isn't anything related to...

I almost traded into a '65 Comet Caliente long ago. I was crawlin' around under it and saw that the trans crossmember was made out of 4" channel iron and it sent up internal red flags  What else has been creatively changed on this thing :wtf:

You're preachin to the choir, but in all honesty, yalls constant bickering is gettin old. I know bad info muddies up the waters, but the same old dick measurin on every single thread turns people away from the discussion. Nobody learns anything like that.

    Metal in oil

I agree about the rings. They are the single biggest source of friction in the engine. It can sometimes take 3000-4000 miles for them to completely break in, so what you're seeing on the drain plug "could" be normal. I would say if it does not slack up in the next two oil changes, you may have a...
