Stop in for a cup of coffee

I would tell the guy, no title no sale.. find the title and call me. There are plenty of projects out there... like that valiant :)
That was our conversation last night. No title no sale. Even if I buy it for the old Hemi I would have to find something to put the engine in. Saddens me to say but without the title I am not interested

Just tell your eye dr. I have a Mechanic friend who has them
Eye dr knew i was a mechanic, said i needed progressives.hated them. Obviously doesent understand what i do. I returned them and got the ones i wanted originally.

Are you saying you could get a title for me? Any idea how much.
I would be able to get one fairly easy. We are allowed to send a pic of all 4 sides of the car, and whatever bill of sale paperwork we have. Then they will let you know their suspected value. Go to your insurance company and get a bond that is 1.5x that value. Send it in. The bond stays on it for 5 years, if no other claims to ownership, then they issue a clear title. I have done this 3 times now. I worked with the DMV at the capital for 6-9 months to get that written. Not sure how the out of state works.

In michigan the process isn't too bad.. EXCEPT if the last owner has died.... they can force you to get a letter from the dead guys estate... When i got my '62 it came with the original '62 title.. and i learned that and panicked bad.. then i actually found the guy alive and called him and talked for a bit.. told me about the car and how he parked it in 1978 and just never got around to working on it. What was funny was the secretary of state not knowing how to deal with such a old title :)

I also have the original hand written receipt from the hardware store/dodge dealership... it is just a normal old one like you had bought some washers...

And now for something completely different.
We binge watched the diplomat (netflix series) this weekend. It was excellent. It rained all day and night last night. Once I get around this morning I am going to go out and see how all my dirt work has impacted the water runoff. I have been learning how this mountain sheds water for three years and I think I have finally got it going my way. The key when fighting a mountain is to gently nudge the water allowing it to do what it wants to naturally but with a nudge one direction or another. She don’t like drastic changes!

Good intake for mid-range power, be a little tight under the hood of the Valiant, I think.
Your right, it's 5/8ths of an inch taller, will be looking into a short carb hat very soon I believe, thank you
Great intakes for street/strip type applications. Not full on race but super middle of the rpm range power. I like em.
Thanks, I should like it and the mid range power for my hwy gears I believe
Cleaning up the panels and getting them back in... Claiming more garage floor space!

A neck and shoulder killer job, hope you was not in a hurry Mitch, I would have to step away every 15 minutes and let my ligaments cool down for 45 minutes, I recal  l many very tough mornings getting over that kind of work . But I know you are a healthy old fart
Looks like I should sell these too. Asking price is not selling price. But..........[FOR SALE] - SB CHRYSLER IRON AJUSTABLE ROCKERS
My goodness those have went up, still almost 400 American.

I almost traded into a '65 Comet Caliente long ago. I was crawlin' around under it and saw that the trans crossmember was made out of 4" channel iron and it sent up internal red flags  What else has been creatively changed on this thing :wtf:

Those God awful monstrous shock/spring towers they used sure messed up that engine compartment. I was walking through a car show and I spy a MoFoCo midsize, Fairlane, Falcon, Comet, I don't remember " That sucka has a Big Block in it!" I looked closer and the builder had carried out a thought I had long ago. Cut those spring/shock towers out and use a well designed patch to flatten it out and put coil-overs under there.
