It'll be an upgrade to crunched, Fred.Looks like I have some work to do in my garage tomorrow. 2022 Suburban that got hit in the door and the owner wants me to try to do some paintless dent repair to it. It's right on the body line and gonna be a ***** to make it look good but I'll try. I told him I can't do it anymore but told me I can't screw it up worse than it is. Yep...
Yea I think you're right Chris. It'll be an upgrade to crunched, Fred.
Wifes 09 Journey getting lights for ABS
Tire shop, calls a bad part, i would hope the next shop does a thorough scan and road test. I’d be leaning towards a bad wheel speed sensor..Wifes 09 Journey getting lights for ABS, ESP, Traction… Clears on restart. Garage said ABS module bad - very expensive and they won’t be able to do the job. (They are mainly a tires and brakes shop.) Referred us to another place that can supposedly test better to be certain and would do the job if needed, but cant get in to even check for at least a week. So, I see there are two sections- hydraulic and electronics. Anyone know if just the electronic part will likely fix this?
Keyword ‘know’. Like someone actually has experience. I’m guessing not many… Obviously my results may vary…Seems like a potential chicken-egg discussion.
That’s kinda where I was going… Does the scanner tell if its the module or sensor? Or which sensor? They were a full service shop, but now more tires and towing. I think the owner was the main mechanic and I think his wrenches spend most days in the box anymore.Tire shop, calls a bad part, i would hope the next shop does a thorough scan and road test. Well i see the first indicator is it clears after you cycle key. And im guessing it comes on the moment you start moving or until you make the first turn. First start rolling then its a tone ring/sensor fault and if its when you turn steering wheel, then a bad wire to one of the front sensors. That’s kinda where I was going… Does the scanner tell if its the module or sensor?
