Hello all, In the midst of a LA-904 rebuild, the valve body stiffener plate and valve body have rust or some corrosion on them. Any ideas on how to remove and clean? Wire wheel on the stiffener plate? 1000 grit on the valve body? Using mineral spirits as a solvent. Thanks in advance

@Dne007, on that end exhaust manifold stud, you have the incorrect washer. What you should have is a brass washer with a bevel in it that the castled part of that nut goes into. The washer you have is one of the cupped washers and it's installed backwards anyway and also in the wrong spot. The...

I noticed in the 67 Plymouth FSM that the specifications on the free valve spring length for the commando engine is 2.00" vs 1.92" for the two barrels. See the picture. Don't know how much of a difference it makes?

Got the adapter plate on the Super Six intake. Now I'm ready for a Holley 4412 two barrel. Probably more appropriately, a chinkesium knockoff Holley 4412. lol

Looking at pics, dipstick is going to be tight if you are going with the Holley or truck. Looks like no room between inner fender and exhaust tube.
