got it figured out with spare part car runs awesome and switch and tumbler work awesome now.

i just replacement my ignition switch i some how fried out.. i had it running a few days ago ran really rough... thought i blew a motor mount or something was shaking pretty good... and now it just rolls and rolls.. spark plugs look good rotor looks good i am going to go see if that is...

so to ask a stupid question because ive now have trouble with spark also now.. i can have trouble with spark coming off my ignition switch am i reading that right? my car turns over but no spark at all... or did i miss read something?

I'm a dumbass....I meant ignition timing..been a long fighting struggle w my car this season every thing is blurring together....its ignition timingg only thing I know is that is changes w a different cam in the motor.....

cam timing, been having over heating issues and want to make sure its timed out right and also starting issues

I have a 318... the previous owner put in a comp cam I'm not sure which one but is there a website on where to look or find out timing advance for it? Want to double check my timing on the car and having troubles finding the information I need Thanks

i did have burn out on the ignition part of the plugs on teh car side the ignition 1 believe its called was black and on the switch side of plug it was pretty burnt up.. still dont know what i hit to have it burn out like that must of hit the fuseable link just right? .... im clueless on it.. lol

its just the key tumbler and electronic ignition i cant get right my accessories come on when they key is on the shutoff position or one click forward... cant figure out how to lign it up right so the key is set right

it was the ignition switch.. now to get it to lign up.. ill be all set.. nothing easy this season for this car lady!

anybody have any advice on how to get a new ignition switch the key tumbler to line up correctlly its kickin my butt.. the key is not stuck in the ignition cant get it to line up to let it go in and out any advice?

dont understand what the ammeter is? where is it located at? and what does it actually do? trying to figure out how to get the switched changed out.. car is kickin this womans butt this year...

stereo doesnt even turn on.. just a dead duck in the garage right now.. none of my gauges even pretend to flirt to work...

i have brake lights hazards not an option its like my ignition system is dead. i changed out my water temp sensor and went back inside my car to a dead car.. it was a "wire coil" i call it temp gage so thinking i shorted something out and it was ran by the fuseable link i have no idea about how...

so i have working headlights, everything else is dead? i looked at the fuses, changed out a rely couldnt find any inline fuses or anything? any ideas would the ignition switch if bad kill everything? been workin on this for days and getting no where... please HELP

so i have been trying to find tail light lenses for my 72 dart swinger, i did find a place to purchase them, but needless to say its been 2 years and im still one short, if anybody interested in the place.( laysons) does anybody know of a place that stocks tail light lenses for this year and...

so i only have one wire on my tranny for neutral, i ran two new wires up for the relay area, hopefully they will light up when i work on it on sunday... but atleast we got them so they are grounded right and they will atleast light up when forced to.. have a floor shifter but cant figure out...

have a 72 dart swinger, and i cant figure out the reverse lights.. they worked last season and now this summer, there just dead... any ideas on where to trouble to shoot, looked at shifter, there was one wire that was unhooked rehooked it, but all those wires are dead, not sure if they will...

i want to upgrade my 318 to atleast a 360. could someone give a lady a break and list what tranny goes with what motor.. i have a hard time with that area. i believe,.. 383 / 727 360 / either 727 904 (is one better then the other?) 340 is 727

what is the best way to set rockers, tried the fella gauge thing today but i dont think that really works unless everything is new, and not broke in and used. or is there anybody in mn twin cities north west side that knows a mechanic that will come out to homes and help tune in a motor...

i have a 72 dodge dart swinger, 318 does anybody know the timing for this, and i do have a comp cam in there not sure if that changes anything, but i have to check the timing and get that squared away, starting way way to hard. thinking the timing has to be off. thanks..

did you have this problem before the new carb? and do you have a baffle in the valve covers?

i have a 72 dart swinger, and the oil pan is leaking im am wondering how some of you have changed this out with that shroud in the way have you just taken the shroud off by tearing apart the ball joints and steering to get the shroud out or did you just pull the engine?? im thinking just pull...

i just bought a dash cap for my 1972 swinger, i bought it from 1aauto.com for the cheapest lookes pretty good, and it seemed like you could get different colors then black!. i have not installed it yet, doesnt seem too hard, but waiting on warmer weather.

ive tried to get sockets on the bolts, but there are to many hard lined hoses to get to them.. i probley could do get to them if i had a third hand to pry the hoses away from the pan so i could almost get to the nuts, and i wish i new more about the car.. is this pain in the butt shroud was...

i need to replace my oil pan gasket which should be a simple task, but i have a protective metal shroud that is right under the pan that is welded onto the frame. there is a whole cut out for the shape of the pan, but i cant get to the bolts, that are not tight either, i tried to get them tight...
