66Dvert. Have you tried using a dremmel style tool for trimming your parts? I've had good results with trimming 3D printed parts.

If you squeeze trigger safely away from ground and wire feeds smoothly its probably your ground. If the wire is "pulsing/stuttering " its your feed system. Some things to check for wirefeed issues are: Typically there is a liner inside the torch that gets clogged with use, rusty wire, loose...

Not that I'm aware of. Governor of state just cancelled all schools until April 6th and no large gatherings. Businesses are limiting visitors and many are starting to work from home where permitted/possible.

Bezels are going slow. I'm on waiting list for my son's 3D printer. I think the design is very close. Now to tune in printing process, then comes the testing. I'll for sure post next print. Hopefully within next month or so. Thanks for asking.

63GT, Am i missing something? You mentioned this was an expensive mod. I'm seeing new distributor for under $50. Are you referencing the MSD hardware? If so what did you add? Thanks in advance, I'm in the process of replacing /6 with 273 myself. This was super helpful and encouraging!

This company has some very promising technology. The furnace is the limiting factor at the moment for size. I'm sure larger furnaces will come. Price to print single bezel was over $400. Markforged Metal 3D Printer: Inconel, Tool Steel, Stainless Steel

Awesome!!! What year Dart are you restoring? My son had a Creality CR-10. He picked up super cheap because previous owner couldn't get it to work. ( Just needed board plugged in). It has nice envelope and he's still working out the quirks.

Once i have the final shape completed and I'm satisfied with it, then I'll start looking into alternative fillers closer.

From what I've had quoted and looked into thus far, once the object is larger than about 1 square foot it gets cheaper to have machined.

That's definitely a possibility. I'm currently waiting on my son to repair his machine so i can finish a few other items I'm looking into printing. It's his machine and he's currently making items for other people so guess dad has to wait my turn....

I'll be out that way today and get some pictures for you. Btw i purchased a wrecked 64 convertible for parts. Seemed like the cheaper way to acquire spare parts. I think that one is decent also.
