    fuel problem

    Lately my car has had a fuel delivery problem. Its fine for about the first 10 minutes. Runs through the gears just fine shifting at 6500.     Wrist pin retainers.

    Which is better. Stock wire type or snap ring. 2316 pistons. I have both. Wire type came with new pistons. Snap ring type where on old pistons also 2316. The old saw 7000 rpm and some nitrous and never failed. Never had experience with wire type. Thanks.

    Parts rant

    I'm sick of part suppliers giving me false shipping dates to get my order. My roller cam. Ships in 4 weeks, its been 8+. Tires. Ships next day, been 3 weeks. Pushrods, 2days, been a week+. Very frustrating. No emails or anything.

    I'm looking at some King rod bearings. They say they're alecular alloy. Will these hold up in a 10 sec. bracket engine or should I spend the coin on some race type bearings. How do they compare to a Tri-metal bearing. Engine is 10.5 to 1 440 running pump gas.

    Are all tracks going 1/8 mile.

    My local track is going to 1/8 mile for all cars faster than 11.60. This is the bracket series. I've raced alot more 1/8 than 1/4 but always look forward to running the the 1/4. Now almost all my racing will be 1/8. Bummer. Might run my 5.13s now.

    Recently put a 100 shot on my 340. Works well but has developed a long delay before it activates. At first it was like a 1/2 sec. delay when I mashed it using the wot switch.     I’m going with a 100 shot on my 340. I have SM heads. Can I run a projected tip plug since the plug is recessed so much. Ngk 6 projected or ngk 7 non projected? Nitrous will be used to race only. 80% street 20% track.

    2nd gear start

    I was at the track Saturday and it was horrible. No hook at all. Everyone was having problems. Tough to dial. Car was all over the place. So I was wondering if it would hurt anything to strart in 2nd gear and give up a little time but at least be consistent. Trans is 727 with ptc 5000 stall.
