Stop in for a cup of coffee

I haven't rotated the tires on our 2018. Almost 50,000 miles and no uneven wear. It's even a all wheel drive. The alignment is good.

    Arthur’s Duster

Does the water pump impeller run true? Were the belts in perfect alignment? All I can think is that there was some runout that caused it to fatigue over time.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

My alignment machine has specs from the 40’s to 2016. I know it takes a little research to figure out the specs for radial tires.

Chilton has been with me all week while working on the suspension. I like having the hard copy. We are going to give a try at doing the alignment ourselves on the Dart. We will see how it goes.

    FRONT END ALIGNMENT

I still do a lot of suspension work at my job as a fleet mechanic for the state of IL, but we have to farm out all alignment work. And the ones that are fully adjustable but the alignment guys only do toe and go's on, blows my mind. Even when they send a printout, and camber and caster is...

Front End Alignment Los Angeles Area?

I called the following: 1) Simpson Frame- the guy wants $450 for the front-end alignment. $175 per hour. 2 1/2 hours for a front alignment seems really excessive. Can't imagine it takes 2 1/2 hours for an alignment. Being that the last guy (Unfortunately, he went out of business) who aligned it...

how to remove the steering wheel?

You cannot re-clock the steering wheel at the top, it will only go on one way as it has a master spline. Check your connection at the box/coupler, at the box/pitman arm, and your alignment.

    FRONT END ALIGNMENT

Depends on the shop. Most large chain alignment shops won’t even do an alignment on my car because of the aftermarket control arms and modified parts on my car. If they will, they will usually only set the factory alignment, which should NEVER be used with radial tires. Custom alignments cost...
