i never disputed that. but for the work and gear to do it is more then a bigger cube V8. plus the six just doesn't have the sound of a V8.

Just get the '64-'66 V8 A body cable linkage, bolts right in. Only the slant 6 used the mechanical pivot rod linkage. The later linkage can be made to work, too- but it's not a bolt in.
